After Lucas explained what intentionally happened in the party, gang, father, Daniel and Veronica, I wasn't thinking straight anymore, I wasn't normally functioning due to the amount of stress I'm encountering. It was a very weird feeling since I never felt such emotions in my whole eighteen years of living. It was as if a gigantic storm controlled all my emotions of kidness and sweetness to evilness and rage. I wasn't feeling right, afterall I wasn't feeling me.
I looked like a lost puupy asking for help, but I knew deep down that I'm strong enough to face any porblems. I decided on calling Anny to support and give me company since I wasn't feeling very well.
"Hello Anny.."
"Hey, how are you?"
"Never been better."
"Oh, great then! Whats up?"
"Nothing much. Just wanted company."
"I'm free if you would like coming over."
"No no, it's alright. I was just calling you for.."
"For?"
"Listen, I have couple of things to do, so if you'll excuse me, I have to go."
With that, I hung up not waiting for an answer. I wasn't in the mood for kindness, I was just not feeling it. Wonder why I called her if I didn't want to tell her.
I changed into comfortable black jeans with a white croptop wanting to head towards the hospital to negotiate with Coal. I waved a goodbye towards Lucas and went out the door, slamming it shut. I walked to the required hospital for half an hour, ending up infront of the gates. Stroding in, I asked for the room number related to Coal Henswood, which they gave me. I climed the stairs not feeling like using the elevator and knocked on the door hearing a 'Come in' from Coal. I opened the door, reveiling a tired and pale person sitting on the bed waiting for someone.
He looked at me unwilling and so did I. We exchanged glances for about two minutes when I decided to sit beside him on the bed. Looking at him aimlessly, there was something not right in his eyes, that seemed to disturb him.
"Hey, how are you feeling?"
I didn't receive an answer, which was probably weird."
"Ok listen-" I started
"No you listen." He spitted the words at me madly.
I looked at him in awe not expecting the attitude he just decided to greet me with.
"I don't care about you anymore Melissa, you just don't even care about me either. I decided on getting drunk in the party because I knew what was about to happen and was certainly not in the mood to face it. You are just some spoiled girl always getting in trouble for some unbelievable reason. I wish I didn't get myself into such trouble in the first place."
All these words that came out of his mouth left me utterly in shock. I didn't want him anymore after what he just said. I don't give to flying pigs about what he just said and decided to knock some sense into him.
"Listen there Coal, as a matter of fact, a boyfriend's job, is to make sure his girlfriend is alright all the time by staying by her side whenever she needed him. Since you never even cared to take care about me and getting drunk instead, I would love to tell you, get lost and never come back apologizing and asking for another chance!"
"You wish."
"I don't know what came into your mind, but you have to be thankful that I decided on visiting you afterwards."
"What came into my mind was, it was all your father's fault for deciding to put me in this situation. Can't you see what he did to me? He ruined me!"
"It's not my fault if you accepted his offer!"
"Get out! I don't want to see your face again, and tell Lucas to bang his head on wood and that I didn't want his help in the first place. I just hope I didn't meet you in the first place because I knew I'll be in troule afterwards."
"You must thank him that you didn't enter jail because of the gang.. jerk!"
"Pfft. I never will thank him since all he's good at is showing off that he's the gang leader, responsible enough to take full responsibilty."
"What the hell is wrong with you! You're such an idiot that doesn't deserve to be treated kindly by anyone! I don't know what came into your mind all of a sudden. I was about to make sure you're ok and give you company, but no, I learned my lesson, It's my fault for liking you in the first place! You were such a mistake to pop in my life."
"Get the hell out!"
With that I slammed the door shut making sure to leave a huge thud echoing in the atmosphere, ignoring any gazes from patients and doctors.
"Is everything ok?" The nurse asked.
"Get the hell out of my face! Why don't you ask your patient for what he had done huh!?"
I pushed her and stroded outside the hospital not caring for gaining attention from the receptionist. I managed to calm myself down by arguing with myself that the whole incident did not matter to me. After half an hour, I reached to my destination, banging on the door, making a huge whole on it. My knuckles did hurt, but it didn't matter anymore. My paitence failed to calm me down. Lucas opened the door shocked as ever, grabbing my wrist before escaping to my room.
"What the hell happened!"
"Well Lucas, why don't you ask that messes up kid what happened. Leave me alone! By the way, he didn't want your help in the first place, just so you know."
I escaped from his tight grip, thankful that no one was at home, since father was at work and mother was busy getting drunk at a stripper club, such parents!
"I never want to see him again!" I managed to say while climbing the stairs.
I locked the door leaning against it, slowly going down and putting my head in between my legs, overthinking what happened. I tugged my hair and let out an ear piercing scream gaining attention from all neighbors next door including my brother. Well, the kind, sweet and nice Melissa eventually turned into a cold-hearted persom, rude, mean and an ignorant one, I thought in my mind.
