jinyoung slipped his phone into the pocket of his jeans and looked up. his literature teacher was staring at him expectantly. she must've asked a question.
"sorry, what was the question, miss?" jinyoung asked. lit was his best subject, so answering random questions about romeo and juliet didn't unnerve him.
"can i see you after class, please?" asked the teacher with a smile.
jinyoung sighed.
"jinyoung," said miss kim after class had ended, "i think you're finding literature too easy."
jinyoung raised his eyebrows.
"so, in order for you to gain extra credit," miss kim continued, "i'd like you to tutor someone in the subject."
okay, so tutoring didn't sound too bad. "okay..." said jinyoung slowly, "who?"
"your desk partner - im jaebum."
okay, rewind. tutoring did sound bad. very bad.
"miss," jinyoung pleaded, "doesn't anyone else need tutoring? i--"
"you'll only have to spend a few hours with him a week," miss kim smiled. "oh, and i don't want to see that phone on in class again please."
jinyoung dragged his feet out of the classroom. and then he groaned.
