Chapter 14
Taylors POV
We drove to the blue bird café, and I parked just behind it. There were no spots up front, plus I'm a horrid parallel parker.
I unbuckled my seat belt and went to open my door before Harry stopped me, "hold on."
He got out of the car and went to my side, opening it up for me. Wow, I don't think he's ever done anything like that for me; it was definitely nice.
As soon as we got out of the car, the paparazzi's swarmed us; yelling nasty things to us.
Harry laced his large hands in my small ones, and led us through the mob. They followed us all the way to the door of the café, and even tried to get into the door. But the owner locked it behind us.
I pulled my hand from Harry's, not knowing how I felt about it. He looked back at me "sorry,"
"how many?" the hostess started grabbing menus, looking at us
"just two please"
She directed us to the seat with my name on it, as we were walking over Harry put his hand around my waist and resting his hand in my back pocket. And I'm 100% sure he hasn't done that since before Audrey was born.
Before sitting down he pulled out the contents of my pocket, "okay, do you just randomly walk around with two credit cards, a 100 dollar bill and lip gloss in your back pocket?"
I shrugged, drinking the water out of a straw, "I was rushing out of the house, I didn't know what I would need..."
He chuckled, "lip gloss?"
"oh shut up."
I picked up the menu and looked at what I wanted; I'm always that person that looks at the menu forever saying I will try something new, and then get the same exact thing I always get.
"whatcha gonna get TA?"
"TA? Really...?" TA standing for Taylor Alison... funny right? "probably the same thing I always get, what about you?"
"and that is, Caesar salad, romaine lettuce only, dressing on the side annddd chicken?"
I nodded, smiling and putting the menu back down
"well, I'm thinking about trying the burger..."
"medium rare?"
"of course." He chuckled, "you know if you move your initials around you would be TSA?"
I rolled my eyes, "ooh, good one Har, like I haven't heard that one before." But still giving him a smile
"I think they should check you at the airport every time just because of that."
"that would make no sense..."
He smiled, "why do you have to be so practical?"
"it's my way of life." I took another sip of my water and looked around. Paps, still at the window taking pictures. And then in the restaurant a ton of young couples and teenagers. I forgot this used to be the hang out of town, its crazy how fast time travels, doesn't it?
A girl was setting up her guitar on stage, and getting the microphone set up. she was super cute, long curly brown hair, and dark brown eyes. Beautiful to say the least.
We ordered our meals and Harry also got a beer, I stuck with water. I was too tired to drink or even think about drinking.
"you okay love?"
"Harry, don't call me that."
"I just wanted make sure you were okay..." he turned, following my eyes to the girl on the stage. "do you remember when your first time was up there?" he turned back at me and I smiled, nodding.
