Freya's POV.

I pulled my short wavy brown hair into a cute bun as I got ready to go hang out with my best friend Vik. We were just going to the shops to spend some time together.

I wore some simple black high waisted shorts with a hazel coloued shirt that matched my eyes. Then I had some high top converse that made me look slightly taller than I was but then I still looked short.

I get into the car to go and meet Vik. It was a short drive and when I got out of the car I saw Vik standing there waiting for me. I smiled and waved at him from the distance.

He spotted me and waved back. I gave him a friendly hug as we stepped inside the air conditioned building that held hundreds of shops. Since it was breakfast time Vik and I agreed to go and have something to eat and just talk.

We went into the coffee cafè that sold, coffee obviously and served breakfast. We ordered and sat down in our seats and waited. But that's when I saw him. Brodie, my boyfriend.

What was he doing? He said he was going to hang out with his friends at the football field today. Why's he here? Vik saw the confusion on my face and looked at where I was staring and saw Brodie.

"Maybe he's just here to get some stuff?" Vik suggested. I continued to watch and that's when I saw another girl walk up to him. A friend? I had never heard of her before? They hugged and smiled at each other. Very good friends?

Then their kips connected and they kissed, more like lowkey made out. Lovers. I felt tears prick my eyes as I watched my own boyfriend cheat on me right in front of my eyes. Vik saw it to and there was no denying what was going on.

"Freya," Vik said but before I even tried to hear Vik out I was out of the seat walking towards my boyfriend and the girl he's kissing right now. I storm up to them.

"Hey Brodie. Funny seeing you here!" I had my hands on my hips and he quickly pulls away from the girl. They both look like dear in headlights. I raise my eyebrow waiting for some type of excuse or answer.

"Oh uh, hey Freya. Um, it's not what it looks like," He says but even he sounds like he doesn't believe it. I scoff, roll my eyes and glare at them both just as Vik catches up to us and is standing next to me.

"We are done Brodie. I can't believe you cheated on me! You're pathetic. I don't need you!" I yelled and stormed off with Vik following me.

"Freya slow down. Lets talk!" Vik said as I reached the parking lot. I stopped and turned around with my head down trying to hide the tears that begged to be let out.

"Look at me," Vik spoke softly and sincerely as he put his hands on my shoulders. I did as he asked and looked at him. Vik smiled sadly.

"What you said back there was true. You don't need him, now come on lets go to my place and watch Netflix and eat ice cream from the tube." Vik said pulling me along.

I smiled slightly to myself. He knew how to cheer me up. We got into our own car and Vik called me so I wouldn't be left alone with my thoughts. He is so sweet. What would I do without him?

It didn't take us long to pull up side by side outside his house. We got out of the car and walked into his house. He sat me down on the couch.

"Just stay here and pick a movie and I'll get everything." Vik says sweetly. I do as he says and soon Vik comes back holding blankets and pillows.

Next round he comes back with heaps of munchies and, as promises, a tube of ice cream and two spoons. He sits down next to me as I play the movie.

We both sit silently and eat the ice cream while watching the TV. I turn slightly to Vik.

"Thank you Vik, honestly. I don't know how I would of got through this without you," I say meaning every single word of it.

He smiles at me.

"It's okay, that's what I'm for,"
