Seriously, girt! Who the hell uses girt now-a-days? No one, that's who! What does girt even mean?!

Surrounded. It means 'Surrounded'.
"Our land is surrounded by sea"...
Yeah, doesn't really fit. But at least everyone knows what surrounded means, not like girt.
Actually... It would be kinda funny to use girt in normalday convos now.
