So, along with the easter Bunny, we have the easter Bilby. Does the same thing, goes around, hiding eggs, but it's Aussier.
For years, as well as the chocolate bunnies every chocolate factory does, Haigh's and Cadbury (and more) have done chocolate bilbies. This yummy treat also raises awareness of the bilby as an endangered creature.
This year, though, there has been an extinction of the chocolate variety. Only Haigh's did them this year, which is really disappointing. I mean, Cadbury has done it for forever, so why stop now? (And Haigh's is way more expensive.)
