                                                                                         CHAPTER 11

I pulled my dress and took a long breath to compose myself before opening the door but I could not stop wondering if I would have kissed Josh if the bell had not rung. Sighing, I opened the door and came face to face an extremely good looking Joffery Parker. He was dressed up in a faded blue jeans and a black button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. His hair was all messy which was very contrasting of his perfectly set hair that I was used to seeing. I am not complaining. This made him look ten times hotter. He screamed sexy from top to bottom.

What's up with all the good looking men showing up at my doorstep these days? Is it raining the men?

"Hey." Joffery smiled and I realized I have been staring at him for way too long.

"Joffery, hey. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I just came to hang out, if that is okay?" He asked raising his one eyebrow.

"How did you find my address?" I asked remembering I never shared my home address with him and the way Ryder was acting all jealous this morning in my office, I highly it was him who gave Joffery my address.

"I asked Mr. Smith."

Of-course.

"So?" He asked looking slightly amused?

"What?"

"Can I come in?"

"Actually I was in the middle of something." I said going red all over again remembering the scene that played on my couch just minutes back.

"Oh, is it a bad timing? I will come back another time then." He said giving me a closed mouth smile.

"Of-course not, please come in." I said stepping aside to let him in. If Dad ever finds out I refused to let Joffery in, he will kick me out of the office.

"I brought wine." I said handling me an expensive bottle.

"Thank you." I said giving him a small smile.

"I actually have company, I hope you don't mind?" I asked him while walking towards the drawing.

"Of-course not." He replied.

Well this is going to be awkward.

"Josh." I called for him. He was sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone. He looked up from the screen and smiled at me which immediately turned into a scorn as soon as his eyes landed on Joffery.

"Josh, meet Joffery Parker. I told you about him, remember?" I gave him an apologetic smile.

"Of-course." He extended his hand for Joffery to shake and gave him a fake smile.

"I am Josh, Kat's friend."

"I hope I am not interrupting anything?" Joffery asked politely shaking Josh' hand.

"Oh of-course not. We are so used to this, aren't we Katherine?" Josh looked at me. I glared at him. Now is not the time to be sarcastic. I just smiled at him instead of replying.
