Standing in the rain letting it splash on his face, the giant champion of King Baran pondered upon which of his warriors he should take with him and his son. As he was thinking he felt a presence, Danen revealed himself. Kendra nodded, “I am choosing men to go with me.”
“I know, you Chelnuk and Nimen so far.”
“Did you read my mind?” Kendra was a little exacerbated by Danen’s comment.
“Not really, intuition.” He continued, “I am here to suggest that you recruit the others from Abraham’s descendants. Then there will be men in their own land who can kill giants.”
After thinking Kendra replied, “That is good, Chelnuk, Nimen and I can travel by my father’s gift to save time.”
“You must be more wary while you are there for the giants commune with the evil spirits and will know your whereabouts. Be careful to camp on holy ground and take a priest with you, Chralane the relative of Melchizedek. He can pray for you and the holy site. He is already in the land of Canaan, in the city of Salem.”
“You shall have to guide me to him, I only know him by name.”
