The rock of Morpeth was a naturally defensive position. There was a cave at the base that could be held by a few good men. All through the day Kendra helped the others build a wall to make it harder to attack.

By the early evening the giants had turned up. They camped well beyond the influence of the holy place. While they were there they communed with the fallen.

When Kendra awoke he surveyed their camp. Chralane had been up both on guard and praying all night. Taking a scoop of water he too looked towards the giant's camp. "What are they doing?" he inquired.
