Chelnuk leapt back a full ten feet and then turned to run through the gate. The envoy’s men charged and four were brought down with arrows and one stunned with a rock from Enoch’s sling. As some of those who were attacking tried to throw spears or daggers they were brought down before they could. Disgast threw a dagger himself when they came into range but it bounced off a man’s helmet. “I finally get to kill a man with a dagger and it bounces off his hat!” So he leapt from the wall, tumbled to the ground then managed to scramble onto his feet to attack another couple of men who were close to the wall. He barged one out of the way and defended himself from a blow the other was directing to his head.
Enoch helped his friend and hit one of them in the arm with a rock.
