“You have requested a bow,” said Cretha, “I have asked your father if he agrees that this is a laudable request.”
“But my lord, I requested 5 bows.”
“You are blessed to be given this.” Cretha took the bow from his back and gave it to Chelnuk. “May you destroy your enemies from afar and be able to feed your family from the hunt.”
Receiving it gratefully and bowing slightly Kendra’s son said, “Thank you.”
Cretha vanished back into the spiritual realm. “What are we to do now?” he asked Silva.
“Your father has a bow like this as well, I could retrieve it for you if I get relieved,” replied his angel.
“Will you get relieved?”
“If I see one of my brethren I shall ask them.”
Chelnuk and nodded then walked back to the fire in the hall. Nimen was there and saw him with the bow. “It that an angel bow?” he inquired.
“Yes, I did request five but they only gave me one,” he handed it to Nimen to show him the quality and workmanship.
“It is a fine bow,” said his friend, “almost as good as mine!”
Chelnuk pushed him slightly and Nimen smiled as he looked at the bow in more detail.
