That night was spent in spiritual warfare. Twice evil angels nearly took Kendra's life. Now that he was killing Nephilim then the evil angels had a reason to kill him. If the giants father's had not been locked in Tartarus then Kendra would be dead for sure. Once the evil angels had attempted the assault on the rock of Morpeth and failed they retreated. They had at least attempted to fight for the offspring of their companions locked deep within the earth for their crimes against the flesh of man.
Once Seir had found out about the 'rebellion' in Temarn he sent his personal bodyguard of fifty heroes to teach them a lesson.
When they got to the village they were told that the villagers were quite willing to pay the tribute and that it was a group of giant killers who had started the trouble. The giants still massacred the village and set it ablaze. To save his own life the cocky villager had told them where Kendra and his group were. It did not save his life but only prolonged the tortuous agony as he was rammed on a spike and dragged behind one of the giants until he died.
