The next day they carried on training. Disgast was given some daggers by Nimen and he practiced a little bit of throwing at an old log near the latrine. By the end of that night they had a third angel bow retrieved by Silva. They decided that they would try their hand at killing a giant the following day. Mendro had told them the story of another giant who lived in the hills about 7 miles away. They planned to find his lair and set an ambush for him as he either returned or left. Enoch would be the scout for he was the stealthiest.
They awoke early and Mendro decided to go with them to show them the way. Deela and his little son Ruy waved them off.
On the way they rested by a well and spoke of past victories. Loja decided to try his hand at hunting a game bird, Nimen and Enoch went along.
While they were at the well they were beset by a band of brigands. Chelnuk saw them from a hill and called to those who were hunting. When they got to the well Disgast was beset by two of them and Mendro and Chralane were defending themselves with their staffs.
