“I have been told by an angel of God that you will help us in our quest.”
Sitting on the other chair Chralane asked, “An angel of God eh? What did this angel tell you?”
“That you would travel with us to the holy places and pray for protection from evil spirits and the fallen while we kill giants.”
Bemused Chralane repeated Kendra’s last word, “Giants?” He rubbed his chin, “Yes, I feel that is right. I will pack some lunch.” As he flitted around he asked, “Which holy places do you want to go to?”
“We have no idea. Where are the holy places?” said Kendra as he stood up and watched the spectacle of the flitting priest.
“Anywhere God has met with men.”
“Where is the closest?”
“The hill upon which Salem is built is the closest, Mt. Moriah.”
“Doesn’t that have houses on?”
“Yes it does.”
“Can we camp there?”
“I think you will find it difficult to find anyone to put you up on the hill. You would end up sleeping on the streets.”
“Where is the next closest?”
“Bethel.”
“Then we shall go to Bethel.”
