Surveying the town Tigrane formulated a plan. Some of the giants were so tall they could reach up and climb over the walls. These would be his shock troops. They had archers though and his army had not been quiet in the coming, the people were prepared. The smaller of his giants were sent to rip up and chop trees down as battering rams for the walls and gate, they would soon be through for the slaughter.

With the keen vision of the Nephilim under his command he knew that he could attack at night to their advantage. For now he would harry the archers on the walls with his unit of giant bowmen.

The smallest bow among them was ten feet tall and could hit a man square from 400 paces. Tigrane’s bowmen stood back to their full range and started to knock the men off the walls. The men were helpless and hid behind the walls. Then the giants moved so close that they could fire through the walls that were only made of dried clay. The men were losing too many on their facing wall so their commander had them stand on the steps below.

Seeing that the men had evacuated the walls Tigrane decided that he would send his army to attack in the daylight.
