He stood at the back of the compound and knocked an arrow. Looking into the distance at the far wall he stretched the bow as far as it would go and aimed it high. When he let go it arched high into the sky and went over the wall.
"That was an impressive shot," commented Disgast, "I wonder if you could hit anything at that distance, let alone kill it."
As he glanced at the surly older man he readied another arrow, "That plant growing out of the wall."
Disgast squinted into the distance, "I see no plant."
Again Chelnuk let an arrow fly, it clipped the edge of the plant and slithered down the wall.
"Did he hit the plant?" Disgast asked his friend.
"He did that," answered Enoch, "but it is still alive."
As Disgast continued to squint the others began to laugh at Enoch's reply.
"Here," Said Chelnuk to Disgast as he handed him the bow, "You show me if you can hit what you can see."
Again the older man squinted at even the side of the barn and aimed at the chalked spot. He fired at it and it went wide of the mark.
