SAY THE NAME, SEVENTEEN!

- it has a decently sized yard and Joshua totally looks after the back garden like the flowers are his babies
- it has lots of windows and an open concept and a tree out in the front
- two bedrooms but you guys reserve the guest room for whichever Seventeen member wants to crash away from the dorms for a night (Jihoon has used this privilege many a time)
- and there's a lot of bookshelves half full of books and half full of various knicknacks including several Seventeen albums
- Joshua's acoustic guitar stands in a place of honour in the living room
- you own a very inquisitive cat called Pants and don't ask how he got that name because literally no one knows that's just his name
- which is funny because you can go around the house yelling "Joshua have you seen Pants?" "I can't find Pants!" "Pants is stuck on top of the fridge again!" "y/n did you feed Pants yet?"
- Pants is a very inside cat and Does Not Like the outside
- now let's get to the fluff
- let's outline a typical day with Joshua off work because soft™
- you and Joshua share a room obviously
- you two kind of trade off waking the other up if it's late enough in the morning
- which on work days is about seven or so but on days off it's around ten or eleven
- when you wake up first you poke and tickle him until he wakes up
- and then you have to help him stumble his way to being dressed, teeth brushed, fed, and usually you have to get him ready to go to whatever his schedule of the day is
- when he wakes up first he cuddles you and sings to you until you wake up
- lots of forehead kisses when he's just woken up no matter who got up first
- or sometimes Pants walks on your faces until you wake up
- you two make breakfast together and make sure the other doesn't fall asleep in their food
- soft Joshua makes you coffee
- after breakfast you two will move your coffee to the couch and snuggle with Pants while drinking coffee
- often you'll watch an episode or two of an anime or drama during this time
- then Joshua will go outside to tend his garden for an hour or so while you feed Pants
- when he gets back in you two do some housework
- breakfast dishes, daily general tidying that he insists on, and the laundry if that needs doing
- also you guys have a day of the week that the bathroom and particularly the toilet and shower get cleaned and that is Non-Negotiable
- you often have dates after or for lunch
- you honestly sometimes have to lock Pants into his travel case so that he won't wreck the house while you're gone
- but not that often thank goodness
- when you get home from your date it's more snuggling time or maybe Joshua will sing and play guitar
- or maybe one or more of the Seventeen members will crash your house which is definitely always an experience and a half
- definitely on days off you two, as the only ones with an actual house rather than living at the dorm, host movie nights
- which is always fun
- you do your own little things throughout the day as well as regular cute couple things
- you have to have daily phone calls with the members who still don't know how to cope with Joshua not being there
- to be honest Seungcheol and Jeonghan are the Worst at handling Joshua's absence even though they were the most vocally supportive of Joshua moving out to live with you
- you often stay up well past midnight just talking
- Joshua is a firm believer in the philosophy of "dating is just having a best friend with another level of intimacy"
- you can talk about pretty much anything that's bugging you which is a skill Joshua learned from being with Seventeen
- then after you guys have your talking you go to bed and ahHH I can't
- he's like the perfect level of cuddly
- prefers to have your head on his chest or arm but he's cool with whatever!!
- you want to be the big/little spoon? that's fine!!!
- you want to have his head on your shoulder? also good!!! he will enjoy listening to your heartbeat!!!
- you aren't feeling up to cuddling that night? he will absolutely respect that and keep his distance!!
- he also plays footsie with you under the covers
- and when you don't want to cuddle but still want to touch him he'll absolutely hold your hand until you fall asleep
- he gives really soft and sweet goodnight kisses
- work days are different since you have to get him out of bed in time but you manage pretty well
- just you and Pants in the house
- which is also fine
- Pants is a very affectionate cat and Joshua likes to call you while he's on break
- you do a good bit of the grocery shopping
- but occasionally Joshua will pick up the groceries on his way home from work
- you two work very well in your home
- and you're very happy.
