* you were six when you first heard your soulmate singing

* he wasn't very good yet so it was kind of just hollering

* of course you told your parents about the boy singing

* and they were very excited that you had a more obvious soul bond, as theirs was very obscure

* so as you grew up you knew that the voice keeping you up at all hours was your soulmate

* he sang

* so

* much

* and you didn't even understand what the lyrics he was singing were

* and then in 2013 you started hearing whatever music he was listening to

* and everything just got so much worse

* he would listen to the same song for hours at a time, restart random segments, play them over and over, and continue

* whyyy

* and you hadn't even heard most of the songs from 2015 onwards

* you searched what you could make out of the sounds

* but nothing came up

* and so you put up with this absurdity for two years before one of your searches finally turned up a result

* lyrics for a song called Habit by a Korean boy band you'd never heard of

* you listened to some of their music and pinpointed Seungkwan as your boy immediately

* and for a while, you were actually pleased with having such a nice singer giving you an internal soundtrack

* instead of constantly cursing the universe for giving you such a loud soulmate

* but then he didn't sing for three days straight

* by the third day, you were getting worried

* you'd heard him singing through colds before but now he'd just

* stopped

* you weren't much of a singer

* but you decided to try and cheer him up a bit by singing back to him

* you turned on one of his songs and waited until the chorus to chime in

* one two three first interaction with soulmate let's go

* Seungkwan had been in a bit of a slump recently due to stress and a few other things

* when he heard Adore U start playing

* he assumed it was one of the other members

* and went to make them be quiet, ready to yell

* and then your voice came in

* the members in the room with Seungkwan saw his expression transition from irritation to a soft, joyful smile

* you let the shuffle function keep you going and kept singing to him

* and after about an hour his voice replied softly, with a song that he had only started singing recently

* "thanks"

* you smiled and turned your music off

* and he started singing even more as if to apologise for being quiet
