JIMIN'S HOODIE ENGULFED him as he walked down the high street, shopping bags in his hands and his headphones in. the air was cold, his nose and cheeks tinged ever so slightly red, and his fingers would be numb if it weren't for the black gloves he wore. he was heading for his favourite café in his part of busan, a little place called 21st century, and he sighed happily when he found it.

inside the café was warm, and jimin was thankful for it, setting his bags down where he usually sat and pulling his earbuds out as he approached the counter. the owner, seokjin, beamed at him, his brown hair nearly brushed, and the leather jacket he wore miles too big for him. jimin deduced it had to be a boyfriend's, as seokjin wasn't very partial to leather — unlike jimin and his roommate jeongguk, who seokjin described as 'trying to bring back the seventies punk scene'.

"good morning," seokjin smiled, leaning on the glass case that held cakes, all of them made by seokjin and his small amount of staff. "what can i get you, jiminie?"

"the same as always, hyung," jimin replied, shoving his hands into the single pocket of his stripy blue and white hoodie. "nice new jacket."

seokjin blushed, but brushed jimin off, opening the door to the kitchen. "hoseok-ah! could you take my shift for me? i've got a thing."

jimin rolled his eyes — seokjin shooting him the finger when he noticed — and waited patiently for the boy seokjin had called to come out, as seokjin pecked him on the cheek as a way of goodbye.

the appearance of the boy seokjin had called made jimin catch his breath; his blonde hair was curled just the tiniest bit, his smile created tiny dimples in his cheeks — jimin thought dimples should definitely be illegal — and he dressed amazingly. jimin was somewhat in love with fashion, and the blonde's outfit was lovely. tight black jeans that showcased all the right places, a black shirt with the nirvana logo across the chest, baggy enough so that jimin could see his collarbones and a good portion of beautiful tanned skin, with a denim jacket covered in patches and badges thrown over the top. all in all, jimin was ninety percent sure he'd just encountered an angel.

"good morning sir," he smiled, jimin's heart fucking melting at the expression. "what'll it be?"

"a cup of mint tea and a slice of lemon new york cheesecake, please," jimin said, mentally high-fiving himself for not messing up on any words. "oh, and can i get a venti order of cute blonde cashier?"

hoseok blushed lightly, bronze skin tinged the lightest shade of pink, a flustered smile appearing on his lips. jimin chuckled at his appearance, smirking ever so slightly.

"a-and that's for who?" hoseok asked, brushing off jimin's pick-up line.

"park jimin," jimin winked. "remember the park, baby. it'll be your last name one day."

hoseok went a deeper red, ducking his head down to look at the cakes as jimin sauntered off, pleased with himself. the boy at the counter was adorably flustered, the tips of his ears turning red and his cheeks speckled with the smallest hint of pink, a smile spread across his features. jimin enjoyed making people blush; he was a bit of a flirt, hitting on anyone he liked, unashamed and confident. jeongguk joked that jimin would flirt with a doormat if he was drunk enough — an incident that had happened before, but jimin preferred not to mention it — and seokjin relentlessly teased him about his terrible pick-up lines.

jimin sat down at his table and removed his gloves, taking out his phone to scroll down instagram quickly, liking jeongguk's selfie he had posted with taehyung, a few food posts from seokjin's meal the night before, and a couple of celebrity pictures. he yawned softly, plugging one of his earbuds in and hitting shuffle on his 'chill beats' playlist, perfectly suited to nice, calm winter morning's like the one he was experiencing.

"p-park jimin?" a soft voice called out five minutes later, and jimin stood up, running a hand through his blonde hair as he walked over to the counter. hoseok stood behind it, a coffee and jimin's favourite cake placed onto the dark wood.

"thank you," jimin smiled, polite as always. hoseok murmured a 'you're welcome', humming an upbeat tune. "hey, hoseok?"

"y-yes?" hoseok replied, head perking up. jimin smirked gently, leaning on the counter.

"how about my venti order of cute cashier, huh?" he asked in a flirtatious voice, making hoseok's cheeks flush up again. "i wasn't kidding, y'know."

"jimin!"

the blonde boy turned as he heard his name being yelled, seeing seokjin come bounding into the small café, a stern look on his face.

"keep your fuckboy meets carebear looking headass away from hoseok," seokjin flicked jimin's forehead, tutting like an annoyed mother. "god, do i have to get guk to sew your mouth shut?"

"hey!" jimin protested, rubbing at his forehead and shooting a laser stare at his hyung. "c'mon, hyung, he's cute, let me flirt a little!"

"i'm right here!" hoseok said, frustratedly, shoving seokjin playfully. "go, hyung, tae needs you in the kitchen."

seokjin rolled his eyes, muttering something about 'disrespectful kids' and going to the kitchen. jimin laughed joyfully, leaning back on the counter and winking at hoseok. the taller of the two had composed himself somewhat, cheeks back to their normal colour.

"so, sunshine," jimin resumed his flirty tone from earlier. "care to deliver my order?"

hoseok chuckled under his breath, resisting an urge to roll his eyes. "depends..." he said in a sing-song voice. "what's in it for me?"

"a date, me, possibly some gucci... anything you want, baby." jimin winked, taking a sip from his coffee. hoseok smiled, dimples popping out - jimin damn near cooed at that, it was so cute - leaning on the counter, imitating jimin's posture.

"well, park jimin," he emphasized on jimin's name, as if making fun of it. "come back here tomorrow, and maybe i'll consider it."

whoop i love jihope
