That night, after Jihyo said goodbye to JongKook and she got confused by JongKook's kiss which keep her awake the whole night.
Jihyo's POV: What was wrong with me? JongKook oppa kissed me but....I didn't feel anything. Compare to the other night, Gary just holded my hands but my heart was beating like crazy....0.0 Does it mean.......?!?!
*At the hospital*
After his braven act last night that JongKook is being more confidence and open to his relationship with Jihyo that he even brought her some breakfast today. Jihyo is waiting for the elevator while JongKook is slowly approaching to her from behind,
JongKook: Good morning~ (whispers to her ear)
Jihyo got startled by the whispering and she got even more surprised to see JongKook is the one who doing it.
Jihyo: Oh! Op...pa....
JongKook: Have you eat the breakfast yet?
Jihyo: No...oppa, I want to say....
JongKook: Ta-da!!! I bought us breakfast.
Jihyo: Go...mawo....(forced smile)
Seeing JongKook is being this thoughtful, Jihyo just can't bring herself to tell him she's going to reject him. Jihyo accepted the breakfast as an appreciation and Jihyo's telling herself to find another time to tell JongKook. Jihyo waited so long for her break so she can get herself some fresh air but the time seems to tik tok too slow. Jihyo tiredly walks to the break room and coincidentally that JongKook's also on his break. JongKook doesn't seem to see Jihyo comes in that he's too focus on the medical book he's reading and eating his sanwich. Jihyo hesitated for a minute before she comes over to say hi to him.
Jihyo: Oppa....
JongKook: OH!!! Jihyo ah, you're on break? (quickly puts down everything he's doing and he smiles broadly)
Jihyo: Uhm, you are reading something?
JongKook: Just a medical book.
Jihyo: Oppa, do you have any plan after work today?
JongKook: *thinking* Ani~
Jihyo: Jo-ah, then I would like to treat you a meal tonight.
JongKook: Okay! (JongKook is puzzled mind that Jihyo wanted to buy him foods, but as long as what Jihyo does, he likes it all)
This time, Jihyo is the first one to waits for JongKook in the hallway, she's being really nervous that tonight she will going to make things clear between them. From not too far that JongKook is coming,
JongKook: Ah....mianne Jihyo ah, I forgot something and I have to go back to get it.
Jihyo: Gwaenchanayo, I just got here also. Kaja. Oppa, what do you want to eat?
JongKook: Me? Anything, anything you like!
Jihyo: Why me, I'm buying you food so you have to decide!
JongKook: Then how about we go to the truck snack store on the sidewalk not too far from the hospital, they cook tasty foods and offer good prices.
Jihyo: Jo-ah!
JongKook: *suspecting* Why are you being so nice to me tonight?
Jihyo: Jinja??? I don't think so, I always being nice to everyone not only you. Palli ka, pae-go-pa-yo [I'm hungry]
When they arrived at the truck, JongKook orders some foods for them but Jihyo only eat a little, after the dinner they take a walk to the near by park as Jihyo requested, during the walking JongKook and Jihyo don't really talk anything at all. To ease the awkward, JongKook is the first one to speaks.
JongKook: Owwww~~~ (feeling the atmosphere) the weather is so nice tonight that the air is cleaner than usual. I wish that I could enjoy the weather everyday like this with you in the future, Jihyo ah, do you think that will happen? (being in his world)
Suddenly, Jihyo stops her walking all of sudden,
Jihyo: JongKook oppa....
JongKook: *already walked few meters in front of Jihyo, he stopped when he hear the call* Waeyo?
Jihyo: (hesitating for a minutes) Oppa, I think we should keep our relationship as friends!
JongKook's ears gone deaf and he can't understand what she just said, that JongKook can only repeats Jihyo's words.
JongKook: Keep our relationship as friends??? Friends?? Chingu??? 0.0 Jihyo-ah, why...why so sudden....?
Jihyo: Mianne oppa, I hope you would understand for my decision! (feeling sorry)
JongKook: (quickly runs to Jihyo and holds her shoulders) Jihyo-ah, did I do something wrong? Did I not take enough care for you? Did something happened? Jihyo-ah! (panic)
Jihyo: (JongKook grabs so tight to Jihyo's hands but Jihyo gently release her hands from his) Oppa, oppa...please....
JongKook: Did you meet someone else?
Jihyo: Oh? (his sentence quickly get Jihyo's attention) Someone else? Aniyah, I just know that I won't have any special feeling toward you.
JongKook keep resisting, denying the truth is happening in front of him. He's begging Jihyo to tells him the reason, Jihyo's being impatiently that JongKook's keep clinging on her. She thought that he would be more understanding her but he's not. JongKook's using his strength to hold tight to Jihyo's arms which is hurting her without his knowing.
Jihyo: Oppa, let's me go, it's hurting!!!!
JongKook: You can't do this to me, you have to tell me why!!! (squeezing his hands on Jihyo's shoulders and Jihyo's screaming loud this time)
JongKook finally realizing what he's doing and quickly releases Jihyo and he backs off few steps.
