I've finally accepted the fact that I am going to have siblings. Sort of. Getting there. I've convinced Ashton to go on the trip to the Bahamas. My parents have agreed to watch over the twins and take care of them while we're away. Emoni will babysit them during the day, and my parents will take care of them when they get back from work. It took a bit of convincing to get Ashton on-board, but he has finally agreed.

"Wake up, Ashton's here! You'll miss your flight!"

I sit up on my bed, completely disoriented and confused. "Huh?" I glance out the window, it's pitch-black.

"What flight? It's like three in the morning!" I groan as I stuff my face back into the pillow and fall straight back to sleep.

I'm jerked awake by sheets being removed from my now freezing body. I frown, everything is slowly starting to turn on in my head.

"Yes, and your flight to the Bahamas is at five."

I blink several times before my eyes pop open in realization, "Oh shit."

Dad sighs and shakes his head, "You will be the death of me."

I groan and scramble off my bed before hopping into the shower. I wince as the cold water splashes on my body, goosebumps erupt everywhere. I hastily brush my teeth and throw on a pair of pajamas I'd laid out for the flight earlier tonight. Thankfully. Why do I always wake up late before flights?

Getting to the front door involves a lot of stumbling and tumbling, my duffle bag drags behind me. "I'm here!" I'm frantic. What if we miss the flight because of me?

Ashton cocks his head at me, averting his attention from dad. He's wearing a big sweater. He looks adorable, I just want to cuddle him.

"Stay safe," dad tells me. He looks like he's about to cry.

Mom sighs, "Don't do anything we wouldn't do."

I snort, "Not a hard request considering you guys would pretty much do anything." Ashton laughs as mom and dad exchange sheepish looks.

Dad shakes his head, "Seriously though. Take care of yourself." I smirk and wrap my arms around them, "I will."

Mom's belly bumps mine and I flinch back, eyes wide, "Oh my God what the fuck is that?"

"Language," she hisses. I shrug and clear my throat, "Um. It's... Harder than I thought it would be."

She cocks her eyebrow, "Did you think it was just a sack of fat?"

I press my lips into a thin line. How the hell am I supposed to know what pregnant bellies feel like? I've refused to touch it up until now. And this was involuntary. Ashton clears his throat.

"Right. We gotta get going, now. See you in a week," I tell them. "I'll take care of her. I promise," Ashton tells them. "Just take care of my kids, okay?" he pleads. Mom and dad nod, "Of course. They're already asleep in the guest room now. We'll take care of them. You kids have fun."

Ashton nods and picks up my duffle bag, leading us outside to the awaiting taxi.

"So what's up? You still weird about your mom having twins?" he nudges me when we climb into the cab.

I give him a dismissive shrug, "No. Just going to need some getting used to is all."

"Oh thank God, everyone's still here," I sigh in relief when we find our classmates beside the gate.

Ms. Shanice and Mr. Black sigh when they see us, checking off their list.
