"Guys, we passed out with our prom dresses and makeup still on," I groan when I find myself sprawled across Aya's floor. I probably look a hot mess.

"How much did we drink?" she groans as she sits up on her bed. Hm. Either we both got on the bed and she kicked me off or I was so wasted I forgot humans prefer sleeping on beds rather than the floor.

I rub my eyes. "Enough to make us forget how much we drank," I mumble as I glance around and frown, "Where's Hana?"

Aya blinks a few times and furrows her eyebrows in confusion, "I don't know. Maybe she's in the kitchen, or she passed out somewhere else. I'm gonna take a shower," she says as she stumbles to the bathroom.

I sigh and dial Hana's number.

"Hola."

"Hey Han, where are you?"

"At home."

I frown, did I really drink that much? I could've sworn Hana slept over! "What..?"

"Yeah, I went home at like seven."

I blink, "Uhh... You didn't even say bye?"

"I kissed you guys on the forehead!"

Why do I feel like we had a one-night-stand and she ditched before I could wake up? I shake my head to myself, "Dude, that's so creepy. Anyway, I'll see you at my party tomorrow, then?"

"Yeah, oh my god I'm so excited! What do you want for your birthday by the way? I'm going shopping with my mom today. She was like what does your friend want? We can get her chocolate and flowers and a necklace or something!"

I snort, "You also planning to put out rose petals and candles in my room so we can make love?"

"EWWW! CLEM! YOU NASTY, GIRL!"

I smirk, "Just saying. You've got a weird thing for flowers and chocolate. Anyway, you really don't have to get me anything, just show up."

"I'll get you perfume or something. See you tomorrow!"

I shake my head to myself, "Bye, Hana."

"WHAT PARTY?" Aya calls out from the bathroom.

I frown, "My birthday party?"

"WHAT?"

I sigh, "Dude, I told you about it like a month ago."

"SHIT, I THOUGHT IT WAS AFTER GRAD!"

I shake my head as I plop down in front of her dresser and remove my smudged makeup, "Nah. I was originally going to have it after grad but since we have the week off I just thought I'd have it on my actual birthday."

"OH MY GOD, MY BABY IS TURNING EIGHTEEN! WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY?"

"I don't mind," I wince.

Getting pins out of your hair is such a hassle, boys have it so easy.

"WHAT?"

I roll my eyes, "I SAID YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET ME ANYTHING!"

"Ugh, I hate people like you. I'll get you lingerie."

I shrug, "I won't argue with that. Just make sure it's either white, red, or black."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Mom? Dad? I'm home!"

Mom and dad look up from their position on the couch. "Hi honey, how was prom?" mom asks.

I shrug, "It was pretty fun, actually."
