- CLEMENTINE -

I'm gonna throw up. I'm going to fucking throw up. My throat is closing, I wanted to kick his ass and smack the bitch, especially after she made straight eye-contact with me BEFORE KISSING HIM. But instead, my stomach decided it would be cool to want to throw up instead. I'm staggering to the beach with my hand clutched to my stomach like I've been shot. What a dramatic piece of shit I am.

I know we aren't official, but for fuck's sake, we're not hooking up with other people. I feel so betrayed and stupid. Why would he kiss her? Ashton's not a cheater. Why would he hurt me like that? I want to scratch his eyeballs out. I gave him everything, and he went and made out with someone else. In the same house that I was in. Not only is that hurtful, but it's disrespectful.

I clench my jaw and blink several times, seeing Adrien talking to two unfamiliar girls on the shoreline.

"Hey, Clem," he grins as I walk up to them.

I nod. "Hey. Who are you?" I ask the girls. They don't respond, they simply look at me from head-to-toe with their heavily made-up eyes and give me bitchy smiles. Ugh. They're just like that stupid Naz.

"This is April and Jade. They're friends of that Nazly chick."

I suddenly feel immense undescribable hatred and anger towards them. Anyone associated with her can suck a hairy tit!

"Scram," I hiss.

Adrien's eyebrows knit together. The girls look baffled. "Excuse me?" one of them says in a nasally voice.

"Fucking move before I drown you both!" I snap.

They scoff in disbelief, "Who do you think you are?"

"Clem? What's wrong with you?" Adrien's confused.

"NOTHING, I JUST WANT THEM TO FUCK OFF BACK TO THEIR SHITTY FRIEND!" I scream.

Adrien's eyes pop, the girls' jaws drop. "OKAY BITCH, YOU NEED SOME MAJOR ANGER-MANAGEMENT!" one of them snaps.

"FIGHT ME!" I'm so ready to throw hands.

Adrien gets in between me and the girls with a look of disbelief on his face, "Ooookay. I'm gonna end this before it gets ugly. Could you girls please excuse us?"

They scoff and roll their eyes. "Yeah. Let's just go. She's a fucking psychopath," they mumble as they sashay away.

I roll my eyes at them, wishing I could have a drink right now.

"What was that?" Adrien is scared. I sigh and shake my head, slightly embarrassed that I snapped at those girls out of nowhere. That was so completely psychotic of me.

"Sorry," I mumble.

He rubs the back of his neck, "Are you... Jealous or something?"

My eyebrows furrow, what? He steps forward. "They were just being friendly, I swear. I told you I'm not over you," he breathes.

Oh, fuck.

My lips press together awkwardly, how do I get him to piss off? He shrugs and takes a flask from his hoodie, "Here. You look like you could use this."

I sigh in relief and take it from him, glancing around for our teachers before downing a considerable amount. He snorts and takes out a packet of cigarettes. Has he just dismissed all the damn rules? Alcohol, cigarettes... What next?

"Um, are you serious right now?" I mumble as I give him back his flask. He shrugs as he lights the cigarette in his hand, "What?"

My stomach tightens. He hasn't given up smoking or tried to, at all. The whole throwing-away-the-cigarette-packet on New Years was bullshit to get me not to freak out. And he has already forgotten about it.
