Yoona's POV

"Water..."

The faint voice woke me up from the little nap I had involuntarily taken. I rushed to Jin's side.

"Don't gulp it down. Take small sips," I said as I handed him a glass of water. He did as instructed and handed me the glass back when he was done.

"Yoona... What are you doing here?" he whispered.

"We'll talk tomorrow, you need to rest now. I am here if you need anything. Don't worry and get some sleep." I patted his shoulder. As I was turning to keep the glass on the table, I felt his hand covering the hand that was on his shoulder.

I found him staring at me with his questioning eyes. I could imagine all the questions that he probably wanted to ask but it would have to wait.

"Jin, we'll talk tomorrow. Sleep now."

"You won't leave before I wake up, right..?" His looked at me with such innocence and hope, that I couldn't refuse even though the thought had crossed my mind.

"No, I won't leave. I promise. Now, please get some sleep." I smiled, trying to reassure him. He seemed to reluctantly let go of my hand and I went back to the couch. "I am right here, call me if you need anything." I lied down on the couch and turned away from Jin. After a couple of minutes, I heard little snores fill up the room. Satisfied that he was finally asleep, I soon fell asleep too.

"Yoona..Yoona?" I felt someone tapping on my shoulder.

"Huh..? Yeah..?" I woke up, my eyes barely open. I felt a jolting pain passing from my lower back to the back of my neck. "Crap, why does it hurt so much?"

"Probably because you slept in the chair. Hearing Jin's voice woke me up completely.

"Hey! How are you feeling? Are you okay? Do you need something? Should I call for the doctor?"

"I think I am fine now but I would like my hand back," he said lifting his right hand up showing our intertwined fingers. "I didn't want to wake you up, but I needed to freshen up, so..."

"Oh, right!" I felt my cheeks go hot as I let go of his hand and stood up to stretch, avoiding eye-contact. "You called for me in your sleep so I sat by you until you fell asleep. I must have fallen asleep too."

By the time he freshened up, I went and got myself a cup of coffee. It was still quite early in the morning but I was flustered about falling asleep while holding his hand and needed a distraction. I didn't want to think about how our hands fit perfectly and how it just felt right. I shook my head trying to get my train of thoughts to steer away from the boy who somehow managed to make that ridiculous hospital gown look good.

"I would have gotten you a cup too but I am not sure if you can have caffeine in your system," I said as I saw him eyeing my cup of coffee as I walked into the room. "It's still only 5 in the morning. You can still get a couple of hours of sleep. Hoseok said that you might be discharged later in the day."

"Oh, which reminds me! If you are wondering why I am here and the boys aren't, it's because I made Hoseok leave. He was planning to stay the night but the last thing I needed was one more of you to faint because of exhaustion! What is wrong with you all anyway? You need to take care of yourself!"

"It's sounds like you are worried about me.." He was grinning.

Why was he so happy..? He's in the hospital for crying out loud!

"Worried? You scared me to death! Imagine if you saw me collapse in front of your eyes! Jihee even thought I was going to have a mental breakdown. I get that it's your job, but you can't risk your health over it! How could you let it get so serious?! You even look skinnier than the last time I saw you!"

"It's been a month..." Jin murmured.

"Hmm..?" I didn't quite catch what he was saying.

"It's been a month since you last saw me." Jin repeated softly.
