Yoona's POV

"Yoona! Yoona!" I felt Jihee's incessant tapping on my shoulder while I was on a call. I turned around and whacked her hand away pointing towards the phone in my hand and turned back towards my desk.

Jihee had now progressed to poking me, really hard I might add. I turned my swivel chair and glared at her. She was pointing at her phone like a madwoman. I squinted my eyes trying to focus on what she was trying to show me. "What the fu--"

Thankfully, Jihee had placed her hand on my mouth before I could finish what I started saying. "Excuse me, sir. I'll have to call you back. I am sorry." I quickly ended the call not waiting for the person on the other end to respond.

"This has got to be a joke!" I quickly grabbed her phone and scrolled through the articles.

BTS' Kim Seokjin spotted living with parents, sparks rumours of leaving BTS.

BTS: 1 down, netizens believe YG's "Who's next?" claims its next victim.

BTS' Kim Seokjin leaves due to conflict between members because of new lady friend.

Jin left..?

"Jihee, what's going on? Is it true?!" I asked even though my racing heart knew the answer.

Jihee shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know. Big Hit hasn't said anything yet but something must have happened that all news portals are covering it. I thought you would have some idea since you started talking to Jin again."

"No! He didn't say anything! I even got this from him yesterday," I said pointing to the mini cactus plant, sitting next to my laptop. "He sent this with a note but it didn't indicate anything. I tried contacting him but his phone was switched off so I left him a message."

"What did the note say?" Jihee asked. I took the note from the drawer and handed it to her.

"When I first read it, I thought that it was related to what we were talking about when we were in the hospital but now I don't know anymore. I thought he would think about what I said, but.."

"Wait a minute..." Jihee muttered as she took her phone back and started scrolling through an article. "You are the 'new lady friend' they are talking about?"

"Eh?"

"They reported on how Jin had been hospitalized last week and was frequently visited by a 'lady friend'. I think they mean you!"

I glanced through the article and realised why I never read gossip sections in the first place.

"Frequently? He was hospitalized for all of one day! Lady friend? Could they put more emphasis on it? 'Caught sharing a moment'! What moment? There was 'moment'? Where was I? The point of being in the private wing of the hospital is to avoid all this nonsense! Is this even legal? Can they spy on people in this manner?!"

"So, I am guessing you shouldn't read about how you are the reason he's leaving BTS?"

"You are kidding right..?"

"Nevermind all this. I think you should give him a call.."

"Oh! Right! Should have just called him!" I hit my forehead for getting distracted by all this garbage. I dialed his number and was greeted with the same message of the number being switched off.

"Do you know where they live? Maybe you could go and see if everything is alright..?" Jihee suggested when I couldn't get through to Jin.

"I don't but I could find out." After a couple of tries, I finally got through to their manager, Sejin. He was hesitant to tell me and I couldn't blame him. I begged him and he finally gave in and said that he would send a car to pick me up because they couldn't run the risk of anyone seeing me, especially now. Hearing him say that made me even more nervous.
