The death of Rainbow Dash's parents

The girl with a broken heart

After minutes of running, Rainbow Dash sat on a bench crying, she couldn't believe that her parents died in order to save her, then her pet tortoise Tank went to her lap and snuggled her for comfort.

Rainbow Dash: "*Crying* Oh Tank, why did this have to happen, I didn't want them die!!"

Tank felt really bad for his owner so he cried as well, meanwhile with Soarin and his tortoise Snowflake they were looking for the sound and when they got there, they saw the rainbow haired girl and her tortoise crying.

Soarin didn't realize that he was staring at her in a loving gaze and so was Snowflake was gazing at Tank blushing.

Rainbow Dash: "*Crying* What's the point Tank? The truth is that I can't believe that my parents are not with me anymore."

Then sad piano music began to play and she began to sing.

Rainbow Dash: I remember the day I met you

We've had a lot of fun

And  every victory you've cheered

All this wishful thinking is now getting me nowhere

I can't believe my parents did this

So that they could protect me from harm

But I didn't want them to die

As she was singing, thunder began to startle her and it began to rain, and she couldn't hide it anymore, so she began to cry of the thought of her parents.

Rainbow Dash: You 

Took my life with you

Took my world with you

She stopped singing and then fell on her knees crying in the rain, Soarin was so shocked that her parents died just like his, he felt bad for her and knew she had to heal her heart.

Soarin walked up Rainbow Dash with his umbrella and used it to block Rainbow Dash from the rain or she'll catch a cold.

Soarin: "Hi, my name is Soarin Skies, I saw you singing and felt like you needed some help."

The rainbow haired girl agreed that maybe this guy is trustworthy, so got her feet and got her tortoise and went to Soarin's house, what she didn't know was that he will feel the same she's felt for so long.
