Tobias POV

“Calm down, Zeke! Breath!” I could hear him trying to breathing in and then out, “you okay buddy?”

“Okay” Zeke breathing noises,  “I’m calm. But, can you believe it?!”

I laugh. Zeke has always been…enthusiastic, but now he has cross the line, he’s more excited than a Erudite getting new books.

“I told you she would!”

“I know! But I was so nervous and now she said yes and ahhh!!!”

I just continue laughing.

“It isn’t funny, Four! I’m so excited!”

“”It is! And where is Shauna but the way?”

“She left to visit Lauren. We’re going to her parents afterwards”

“You nervous?”

“Hell yeah. You know they don’t like me that much”

“And have you tell your mom?”

“Shit! I absolutely forgot! I haven’t even tell Uriah! I’ll go feel her right now. Calling Uriah on the way”

“Good luck, see you later”

“kay” and with that he hand up.

I’m so happy for Zeke, I can’t believe he finally propose to Shauna. I have to tell Tris.

I just sounded like an Amity girl.

“Tris! You have to hear this! Come here!”

“No Tobias, we have to work! We totally forgot! I can't believe it!"

"Shit! Today was the fear landscape shit! Damn it!"

And this point Tris is already in the kitchen, looking georgeus as always.

"Are Zeke and Uriah there already?"

"Uriah, no idea. But Zeke isn't."

"Hurry up Tobias! We have to go!"

"I'll be ready in a minute!" I yell as I run to our bedroom and change as quickly as I can.

There's no time for a shower so I just change and go running back to the kitchen, ready to leave but still hungry.

"I'm ready. Let's go" I tell Tris. I walk out and follows.

"Let's stop on the cafeteria a second, I'm starving. I'll just grab a muffin. You don't even have to stop, I can catch up to you."

"No, it's fine. I'll go with you"

Said and done. We stop at the cafeteria, grab a muffin and leave, I grab one two. We aren't running anymore, we're jogging, so we can eat without choking.

"Did you called Uriah?" I ask her.

"Yes, but I was send to voicemail. Five or six times."

"Probably talking with Zeke"

"Why? Zeke has to come too but the way"

"That's what I wanted to tell you!" we haven't stop jogging. "Zeke and Shauna are engaged."

She stops. "What?!"

"I said: Zeke an-"

"I know what you said! I just can't believe it. I didn't thought they were so serious"

"Why?"

"I don't know, I mean, it's Zeke, nothing is serious with him"

"We have to continue running" I complete change topic. I really don't know what to say. I mean, Zeke is my best friend, I know he's goofy but he's serious when needed. And if I stay here trying to convice her we will just lose time and it doesn't matter anyway.

"Right!" We have finish our muffins at this point, so we go back to running.

After a couple of minutes we finally get to the fear landscape room. Some of the initiates are still here.

We tell them to bring the others and they left to follow our orders.

Wait.

"Tris?"

I turn to look at her, but she's already looking at me with the same expression I have.

And that's how I know we are thinking the same thing.

If Uriah, Zeke and Lauren aren't here. Who's fear landscape are we showing?

"Mine" she says as if reading my mind.

"You sure?"

"Yeah"

She doesn't look sure at all.

"As long as my seventh fear is gone, it's fine. I don't mind."

"Okay. Let's call Uriah, if he gets here in time, we won't have to show yours."

"And Zeke too"

"No, just Uriah."

"Zeke too" she insists.

"Tris, he's going to tell his mother and Shauna's parents, he doesn't has time for this"

"Tobias, he has to work."

"Is fine, he's just skipping a day. One day. We're fine without him"

"Okay. Call Uriah then".

I call him and he picks up the phone pretty quickly.

"Hey, Four!"

"Uriah! Hey bro-"

"Whats up?"

"Where are you? Come to work! We just got here, hurry up"

"Shit! I totally forgot! Okay, I'll be there in five"

"Okay" and I hang up.

"He'll be here in a minute"

"Ready to do this?"

She nods, and we turn around, waiting for the initiates to come back.
