Chapter 34 - Happy Days

I find myself thinking what it means to be happy...

I don't have many happy moments in my life, but...

I don't think i've ever been this happy as i am right now.

(Ehehe, i'm so happy right now.)

(Because  the love of my life is waiting there for me when i get home.)

I am in good spirits coming home to Famille' after hard days work. 

As i push the front door open with there to find...

"Hi! Welcome back, Mina!"

 "Oh,Hi! I'm glad to be home, Rei!"

My girlfriend Rei is there to greet me.

"Sorry i took so long, here are the ingredients you ask me to get."

"Oh, no worries your just in time for me to cook some dinner and thank you for shopping for me."

"Uhm..." she fidgets bashfully.

"Hm? What is it Rei?"

"Oh, nothing...Um.." She looks rather shy as she takes a small breath of air.

"Well...Mina."

"D-Do you want dinner, a bath or..."

"Huh?"

"D-Do you want M-m-m... ...."

"Hold it!" i quickly take Rei by the shoulders.

"W-What's wrong Rei, you seem rather..."( aggressive, you're going to give me a heart attack..)

"Uh, Onechan and the others told me to say that when you get home, s-she said you'll like it..."

(Darn it Raika and those guys, why suggest that to Rei...)

"Uh...Oh? You didn't like it?"

"And...I thought that since we are in a relationship, i should be more aggressive, but..."

"Huh? Oh! I do, i like it, i love it but (You're going to give me a heart attack.)...L-let's take it easy okay, i mean knowing each other better would be a start don't you think? (I can't believe i'm saying this.)

When i noticed there in the shadows i can see Raika and Miyoko's smiling faces.

(There's the culprit...)

"Miyoko! Raika! I can see you from there."

"Ah, welcome back, Mina." said Raika with a sinister smile on her face.

"What's all the yelling for?" said Miyoko while grinning.

Leaving the shadows of the hallway, they feign innocence.

"What's with the hiding for?" I asked sarcastically. 

"It was you two, wasn't it? Teaching Rei odd things to say."

"What are you smoking Mina?" asked Miyoko while holding her laughter.

Raika laughs mischievously.

"Ahahaha, you were on to us, huh?" continues Miyoko.

"We figured you would like that kind of thing," said Raika

"W-Well...I don't!"

"What's with the pause? Oh, should we make him wear the battle apron? Snickered Miyoko.

"I can wear an apron," Rei said innocently.

"Huh?! ( i don't think she gets what Miyoko meant about the battle apron.)
