Chapter 51 - Overflowing Emotions.

"Wait for me !!!"

Both her body and voice trembles as she collapses in my arms.

"Rei?"

"Wait...for you?"

"I don't know when it will be..."

"But I want you to still be here waiting for me once my dream comes true."

She then looks down apologetically.

"I know this may sounds selfish..."

"And I cannot promise you on when, and how long it is..."

"And I fear that it will be very hard for you, but..."

"Rei..."

"I knew...Just how much in pain you were...when you told me it's best for me to go to France."

"I knew, so I didn't want to cause you any more hardship..."

"And I don't want to hurt you!!"

"But..."

"I...I..."

She tugs on my clothes so hard I that they may get ripped.

I'm unsure when exactly she started crying, as same as unsure I am when I started crying.

But even so she looks me dead in the eye as she speaks.

"I...I love you!! And I want you to wait for me!!"

"I love you with all my heart!! Mina!!"

"So I want you to wait for me to come back after my dreams have come true, I want you to be there for me!"

(This might be the first time she's being selfish...)

" I know I am being selfish, but...."

This is the first moment that she thinks of her own feelings instead of everyone else's.

"Rei..."

I hugged her tightly in response.

"You don't need to ask me that."

"Huh?" she looks at me confusedly.

"I'd wait for you forever, as long as it takes!"

"So you don't have to worry about it okay?, and I'm sorry..."

"I should have told you that earlier is just that, I was worried that if I had, you might end up not going..."

Which is why I had thought to see her off without saying a word.

"I will wait for you, even if you didn't say it."

"I will wait for you forever..."

"It won't be that hard on me..." (of course it will be hard for me but I can't say that can i...)

"B-but...I really don't know when I would return."

I give a wry smile, patting her on the back.

"We should stop doing that, okay?"

"I love you, and will listen to whatever you have to say, you don't need to be reserve to me."

"I'll probably ring you every time I'm feeling lonely to tell you that."

"Okay."

"And I'll probably tell you everything that I find it hard over there without you."

"That's fine."

"Let's work on being able to tell each other everything."

"I will support you, even from far away."

"Mina..."

"I'm the jealous type you know."

"I somehow knew that.."

"I can be unreasonable sometimes."

"I want you all to myself, I want to be pampered, I want you to tell me you loved me everytime, I want to hug you, hold your hands, k-kiss you more...."

"Let's do all that when you return.."

She presses her face to my chest while wailing her emotions freely.

I embrace her softly.

As if to catch all her emotions and tears.

"And you, make sure you do your best in France, okay?"

"I will."

"Mina, I love you!"

"I love you too, Rei."

And so...

We made our last memory together in Japan.

And we finally showed our hearts to one another.

The day that we must part has arrived.
