RAVEN POV

Nightmare

We had received a crime alert that reported a green dinosaur bringing havoc in town, we went there and I saw my love, changeling in the shape of a bloodied and beaten t-rex, he had a shock collar on that visibly caused him excruciating pain, he roared and charged at us, I wanted to talk him out of it but the others won't let me

Cy-"he's out of control!"

Star-" he's now just the animal"

Night-"we have to put him down, for good"

I screamed as they shot everything they had at him, making him loose balance and change back, he fell on his knees and looked at me with pleading eyes
I ran to him but he faded into dust.

End of nightmare

"NOOOO!!!" I bolted up, panting heavily, I looked around and saw that I was in the medical bay, hooked up at some machines, after a few seconds the door slid open, and entered the dark knight himself

"B-Batman?"

Bat-"greetings raven"

"B-but how?"

Bat-"bee called cyborg two hours ago, when he didn't answer she contacted me, and I came here immediately, I found all of you on the floor, passed out because of joker's toxin"

"Are the others..."

Bat-"they're ok, you are the last one up actually"

"...oh..."

Bat-"he could have killed you all, but he didn't, this worries me, it means he has plans for your friend"

I struggled to hold back tears, the thought of my mate in the hands of that monster was killing me

Bat-"anyhow, reach us in the common room when you feel ready"

He walked, no disappeared out of the room, putting my teleportation spells to shame.

I collected as much inner strength as I could and then made my way to the common room.

When I got there, star and nightwing were cuddled together on the couch, star was panting heavily and had a tear stained face, I sat next to Cy and patted his arm, he smiled at me, then Batman called our attention

Bat-"ok Titans listen up, the only reason you're not dead is that the joker has a plan regarding your friend, I suspect it has something to do with his beast side"

"How do you know about that?" I asked, nobody beside the titans and Adonis knew about the beast, we had decided to keep it confidential

Batman eyed nightwing

Bat-"so... you didn't tell them"

Cy-"told us what?"

Nightwing sighed and got up so he could stare at us

Night-"the teen Titans.... were... a test"

"What do you mean by that?"

Night-"the team was created, initially, just so that I could report back to Batman certain things..."

"Such as?" I said through gritted teeth

Nightwing sighed again

Night-"cyborg was picked because we needed to keep your technology on check"
