It was awfully quiet that night, save for the storm raging outside, everyone was living their daily lives, including the drug dealers working for the local cartel, who were just now about to receive a package... unfortunately for them, destiny had other plans...

As a hooded, feminine figure approached the group of over 17 armed criminals, they thought it was a joke, a bet, a hooker maybe, they sure as hell didn't think it was the sorceress of the titans, and they didn't know, until her four red blazing eyes started shining through the rain and fog

Rae-"...you were involved.. tell me.. who introduced into the titans tower 3 months ago."

When they pulled out their guns and started firing they thought they could overwhelm her, they assumed they were making a fight of it, they at best feared she'd take them to jail... they assumed wrong.

Wings of darkness blazed out of the dark girl's robes, these wings made a shockwave powerful enough to send them all flying back several meters, when one of them managed to sit back up, he saw the mangled, torn apart corpses of his cohorts held in the air by black magic, and at the center of it all, the demoness herself.

Once again he thought he'd seen the worst of it, once again, he was wrong, with a loud thump above him landed a creature, so horrifying that it seemed as if it had crawled out of hell itself, with horns on its head and dark green fur dripping because of the rain, long arms reached down grabbing a hold of the man and lifting him up, by this time he'd understood.

Guy-"it.. it was you.. you're the monsters who've been slaughtering everyone in jump city..."

Rae-"and you are going to be next very soon if you don't tell us what we want to know. Who infiltrated the tower, three months ago"

Guy-"I'm a low level drug dealer i wouldn't kn-AAAGHHH"

The green monstrosity ripped one of the man's arms clean of its socket and dropped it on the floor

Rae-"last. Chance."

Guy-"please... I have a family.."

Rae-"we don't."

The green creature clawed off the man's head before returning to his more human form

Chan-"we'll get them. We're getting closer."

Rae-"yes my love, they're going to pay."

Three months earlier RAVEN POV

This can't be happening! This can't be happening! This isn't happening! THIS ISNT HAPPENING!!!

I could feel the whirlwind my emotions are causing inside of me, there are no words that can describe how much pain I'm feeling right now... and I still have to see her body... her tiny, little, fragile...

"My baby..."

I start crying again, the common room is empty and I am the only one here, Garfield just went to identify our baby girl... I can't believe this.. this isn't happening... this isn't...

Night-"raven..?"

Nightwing startled me

"..yes..?"

Night-"we're going to find who did this I promise"

Strangely, that promise, those reassuring words meant nothing to me at the moment... i didn't want them found, I wanted them...
