-Next Day-

I opened my eyes to be greeted by the sun.

"Mmmm." I groaned.

I turned to my side so I wouldn't get blinded by the bright rays. My eyes were closed and tried going back to sleep, until my phone started to ring.

"Fucking hell!" I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and picked it up, not looking at the caller's ID. "What the hell do you want?" I growled.

"Woah, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." It was Hank.

"Sorry...Slept late last night..." I said with my morning voice.

"Well you've gotta come to the station. It's important." He spoke through the phone.

"Did we get more cases?" I asked while sitting up.

"No, but they said it was only for you and I, but most especially you." He said.

"Alright I'll be there." I told as I removed the sheets from my body.

"Alright." Then he hung up.

I got up from the bed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, did my hair, put a little bit of makeup, and went to my closet. I pulled out my leather jacket, a white shirt, and leggings. I heard little footsteps and a chain so I looked down.

"Aw my cute Vanilla! You're awake!" I bent down to pet her head and back. "I had already prepared your water and food. They are over there!" I pointed and she ran to her food. "Mommy will be back later, Alright?" I felt sad that I had to leave my precious baby again.

I didn't forget to take my phone, wallet and keys with me. I double checked myself and put my shoes on before heading to my garage. I switched the lights on to decide what ride I wanted to use today. I debated on car or motorcycle and ended up using the motorcycle, so I put my black helmet on and drove off. I probably looked like a badass right now.

I arrived at the police department and parked my motorcycle in the parking. I got off and removed the helmet from my head to put onto the handle. I walked in, swiped my card and headed towards the desks to meet Hank.

"Finally...You took so god damn long." He said, arms crossed.

We both walked to Jeffrey's Office since he had something important to say apparently. Hank opened the door, me following behind him, as we were greeted by Captain Jeffrey.

"Mr. Anderson, Ms. Skyes." He nodded to us.

Hank sat in a chair while I stood there, arms crossed.

"Alright, what's so important that you wanted to tell us." I asked, leaning on the glass wall behind me.

"Mostly you, Ms. Skyes." He corrected. "You will be partnered up with another." He leaned back in his chair.

My eyes widened a bit while giving a confused expression.

"Me? Working with someone else?" I repeated. "Who?" My arms unfolded and dropped to my sides while leaning on the wall behind me.

Jeffrey pressed a button on his desk, holding it while talking.

"Bring him in." He demanded.

I tilted my head before seeing a figure moving near the glass door. I turned my full attention to the person, scanning details.

"Don't fucking tell me we're working with a plastic tin can..." Hank scoffed.

"My name is Connor." It spoke. "I'm the android sent by CyberLife." I looked at Hank and he was obviously pissed.

"I've got 10 new cases involving androids on my desk every day." Jeffrey admitted. "We've always has isolated incidents. Old ladies losing their android maids and that kind of crap..." he said while searching his computer. "But now, we're getting reports of assaults and even homicides, like that one guy last night." He looked up at both of us. "This isn't just Cyberlife's problem anymore. It's now a criminal investigation and we've gotta deal with it before the shit hits the fan." Then he looked at me. "I want you to investigate these cases and see if there's any link." He finished.

Before I could say anything, Hank spoke.

"You talk about android's assaults and homicides but you bring one in to help us?" Hank stood up. "What fucking logic is that?" He cut Jeffrey off. "There's no fucking way! Aaron doesn't need this plastic prick as her partner, she already has me!" He shouted.

"Hank, you are seriously starting to piss me off! You are a police Lieutenant, you are suppose to do what I say, so shut your god damn mouth!" Jeffrey argued back.

Should I stop this situation? I kept watching.

"You know what my goddamn mouth has to say to you huh?" Hank got up in his face.

"Ok, ok" Jeffrey backed up and looked like he was about to fight a bitch. "I'll pretend like I didn't hear that, so I don't have to add anymore pages to your disciplinary folder 'cause it already looks like a fuckin' novel! This conversation is over!" I looked around the room thinking ohhhhhhh shots fired!

Whatcha gonna do about it Hank? It kinda warmed my heart when he thought about my safety though.

"Jeffrey, Jesus Christ! Why are you doin' this to me? You know how much I hate these fuckin' things. Why are you doin' this to me?" Hank whined.

"Listen, I've had just enough of your bitching. Either you do your job or you hand in your badge. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got work to do." He scolded.

Hank growled and left the room. I looked at Jeffrey and he sighed. He gave me a signal to follow him and I nodded. I looked at Connor and he nodded to me.

"Have a great day, Captain." He spoke before following me.

I walked to push the door and held it for Connor.

"Thank you, Ms. Skyes." He told.

"No need to be formal, Connor." I walked, looking forward.

"Alright, Aaron." He said also looking straight.

I chuckled a little bit. I walked to Hank. He was sitting on his chair, arms crossed, looking pissed. I looked at Connor and he was staring at me. Then he spoke.

"Its an honor to be working with you, Lieutenant." His voice sounding positive. "I'm sure we'll make a great team." Hank kept quiet.

I felt bad for Connor.

"Hank, if you don't want to work with him it's fine. I'll be the one to talk to him, and I won't tell Jeffrey." I said to him, making him turn his head to look at me.

"No....I won't let you....he could be dangerous to you..." He looked at Connor with a disgusting look.

"He's not that bad!" I looked at Connor.
