"I'm fine." He adjusted his tie which I thought was pretty cute.

"Are YOU alright?" He asked with a slight worried expression.

"Yea I'm fine." I rubbed my left arm to try and ease the pain of the bruise a little.

"You should really start telling me the truth. There's no point in lying to me." He tilted his head.

"Sorry..." I apologized.

I walked to my seat and sat there, opening my computer. He did the same and we started to work. Typing and clicking was all that was heard, other than the awkward silence. I looked over at him and he was still looking at his screen. *Ahem* I coughed. He looked at me. I decided to ask some questions this time to end the silence.

"So..." I awkwardly started. "Why did you hug me?" I asked while looking down.

"I...." He paused for a moment. "I don't know...." He admitted.

I awkwardly turned my head back to my computer, biting my lip to think of what to say next. It was getting awfully quiet and awkward and I didn't like it at all.

"Um....." I quickly thought of the personal question he asked me days ago. "Remember that question I couldn't answer?" I lowered my head to face the printed keyboard on the table.

In my peripheral vision, I could see him turn to me and nod. I sighed a little, trying to gather some thoughts to explain. I started to fidget with the zipper of my leather jacket. Can't back down down...

"Long story short, I wanted to become a cop because someone kidnaped my parents. I've never found out what happened to them. I just wanted to know if they're alive, or—" He cut me off with a hug.

He was careful with my left arm though. I didn't notice my tears until we pulled back and he wiped my cheek.

"I...found a ripped and torn picture in the trash can of your kitchen. I put it back together. When I scanned it..." He stopped for a moment.

I tilted my head, cheeks stained with tears.

"Should I continue or..." He was making sure I was okay with what he was about to tell me.

I gave him a nod.

"Alright... When I scanned the picture, um... your dad is fine. He's alive..." My eyes widened and I I got up from her chair. "But your mom...." he also stood up. "I'm sorry...."

-Connor's POV-

I pulled her into another hug for comfort, again making sure I don't hurt her arm. I pat her back while she cried. I could hear her quietly sob over my shoulder and I gripped a bit tighter. I felt....sad... I couldn't bear to see her like this.

"Um... please don't cry..." I tried to comfort her but I didn't know how to.

I just wanted her to be happy. I suddenly lifted her up and swing her around. She screamed a bit. I could tell she was surprised with my actions but I was too. My body moved like it had a mind of its own. I looked up at her, as she gave me wide eyes.

"Sorry, I was just trying to comfort you..." I carefully set her down.

"It's alright." she giggled. "Anyways, we um, have to go find Hank." She said while fixing herself.

I nodded and we headed out of her office. We stopped in front of the desks area and she turned to me.

"Wait outside, I'll check to see if Hanks' here, which is mostly likely not." She chuckled and walked to the desks.

I followed her orders and headed outside.

-Aaron's POV-

I walked in the room and scanned my surroundings. Hank wasn't at his desk so I walked up to Officer Wilson's desk to ask.

"Wilson." He turned to me. "Do you know where Hank drove off to?" I asked.

"He said something with his "thinking place". He then looked back at his computer. I thought for a moment before speaking.

"Alright, thanks." Then I started walking back.

"No problem." He shouted a bit.

I walking to the doors and was about to turn but someone pulled me before I walked the other way.

"Woah!" I was about to fall, but was caught in the person's arms.

What the.... I looked up to see Gavin's Smirk. Instantly, I pushed him away from me, making him stumble back.

"What the fuck!" I shouted. "Can you fucking not?" I quickly walked away before he could say anything.

But seriously what the hell does he want?! What part of "don't bother her" does he not get?! I walked out of the building, lost in my thoughts of ways to kill that arrogant asshole. I wasn't paying attention to the things around me, which caused me to bump into someone.

"I'm sorr—"

"Are you alright?" I looked up to see Connor with his worried expression.

"I'm fine." I walked to my motorcycle.

"You're lying." He gave me a serious look.

"I just bumped into Gavin along the way. You could imagine what happened." His LED turned red and he suddenly turned around, starting to make his way back in.

"Connor!" I ran to him to try and stop him.

"Connor stop! He didn't do anything!" I tried to push him but he didn't move an inch.

I suddenly hugged him, making him slow down to a halt.

"Everything's fine. He didn't hurt me..." He looked down at me while I pleaded for him not to make a scene.

"You can scan me if you want... But I know where Hank went..."

I took my helmet off and put it on the Motorcycle as Connor already appeared beside Hank. Their lips were moving, but couldn't make out what they were saying. I kicked the stand to hold the weight of my ride, and swiftly took the keys and and into my pocket. It was really cold but I didn't say anything since it doesn't really matter. I walked up to the guys, all of us staring at the beautiful sight.

"Nice view, huh?" Hank spoke while taking a sip from his bottle.

I let out a shaky sigh from the cold.

"I knew you'd be here, Hank." I kept my eyes in front of me.
