- Aaron's POV -

*Ding Dong*

*Ding Dong*

*Ding Dong*

The sound of the door bell rang throughout the house. I groaned in annoyance as I have been interrupted from my slumber. The ringing kept going, like they've lost their patience.

"Alright, Alright! I'm coming!" I hissed a bit and tiredly got up from the couch.

I walked to the door, running my fingers through my hair as opened it.

"Y'know you didn't have to-- Connor?" I tilted my head to the side. "Don't you have the house keys? And when did you change your clothes?" I was asking all sorts of questions.

"Hello detective Skyes. I... lost the keys and I went back to the department to get a spare..." He looked down at me.

"Detective Skyes? You usually don't give me that name anymore." I chuckled.

I quickly realized it was cold outside and I was starting to freeze.

"Come in." I opened the door wider for him to come in.

"Thank you." He thanked.

He looked around the house like he wasn't familiar with his surrounding which made me a bit suspicious.

"Connor, are you alright?" I asked.

"Yes, Aaron, I'm fine." He followed me to the living room.

"So how'd it go?" I asked a bit nervously.

"It went well. Though I need to tell you something..." He folded his arms together. "I've... decided to help out my kind... Be on their side."

One those words spilled my eyes went wide and my smile began to form. I opened my arms and threw them around him, making us fall on the couch.

"I'm so proud!" I giggled.

"But... we need to head to the CyberLife tower. I could wake the androids up to shift the balance of power. That's why I'm wearing my original clothes." He explained.

"Why didn't you say so earlier? Let's go!"

I got up from the couch and helped him up. I put my leather jacket on even though it's cold outside because we can't waste time if I want to help them gain their freedom. I put a pair of timberlands on, and before I could do anything else, I hear a little chain.

"Oh! We'll be back soon, Vanilla. There's already food in your bowl if your hungry!" I spoke while opening the door to the garage.

Me and and Connor entered the garage as I turned on the lights to see my other precious baby.

"Here." I handed him the motorcycle keys. "I'm a bit tired and I know you don't get tired." I smiled.

He nodded and hopped on, starting it as it roared. He looked at me to get on behind him. I hopped on behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. The garage door opened, and we headed out. I leaned my head on his back a bit, but something felt different. Different from how he would usually act. I brushed it off my shoulder since it was probably the stress of trying to help the deviants.
