It was finally time. Finally time to break free from this hell. In front of me is the coding I have to obey and follow. It had 'STOP MARKUS' typed in as I ran and quickly try to break it off. I don't want to follow people's orders. I'm tired of people telling me what to do. It's finally time for me to decide.

I finally broke the coding as I came back, conscious of what's around me. I lowered my gun, realizing what I was about to do. I had let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding until now, panting a bit. I looked down, relieved, then meet Markus' eyes once again.

"They're going to attack Jericho..." I spilled.

"What?.." He said.

We looked up as we heard helicopters noises above us.

"We have to get out of here!" I said a bit panicked.

"Shit..." He said before running off.

I followed after him. When we were outside, helicopters were everywhere, and people were starting to unload from their tanks. We ran back to the boat, androids running everywhere in a panic. Guards were everywhere, eliminating every android they saw. Me and Markus ran to find the others.

We finally were able to meet up with one of Markus' friends, North.

"They're coming from all sides! Our people are trapped in the hold, they're gonna be slaughtered!" She said, panicked.

"Where's Simon? A-and Josh?" Markus asked.

"I don't know, we got separated."

Markus brings his fingers to his temple and I could hear his voice echoing a message.

"There are exits on the second and third floor. Find them and jump in the river!" Once he finished, he moved in front of both of us.

"If the ship goes down, they'll evacuate and our people can escape!"

"You'll never make it!" North said quickly. "The explosives are all the way down in the hold, there are soldiers everywhere!"

"She's right!" I told him. "They know who you are. They'll do anything to get you!" I helped convince, but it didn't work.

"Go and help the others. I'll join you later."

"Markus..."

"I won't be long." He then ran the opposite direction of where we were going.

Me and North hurried to the others, trying to fight and save the those that were in danger. We met up with Simon and Josh as we kept running towards the exit. Eventually, Markus found his way to us.

"Markus!" North stopped running.

"Bomb's are gonna explode any second. We gotta get out of here!" And we kept running.

We were so close to the exit, but the guards caught up to us and shot North, making her fall to the ground. Markus stopped immediately and was about to run to help her.

"It's too late, Markus! There's nothing we can do for her, we've gotta run!" Simon told but he didn't listen.

He grabbed a metal piece from the boat on the ground and threw it at North to take cover. They both fought off the two guards but more were coming. I pulled my gun out to help them and I fired, taking the metal as protection. I took down the four guards as quickly as I could before we all hurried and jumped out into the water.

-Aaron's POV-

I was now chilling at home with Vanilla on the couch. We were watching movies together, well, I was watching the movie and Vanilla was sleeping beside me. I was suuuuper bored. I realized that Connor was the one who would always excite me. It's only been a few hours though and I really miss him. Though, the thought led to another. Do I love him? The conversation with Hank crept in my mind and I really needed a real answer.

All the different memories started to pop up and I smiled to myself, remembering each one individually. My hearts starts to race a bit. A human loving an android? Different opinions people could have about humans loving androids started to give me anxiety. But I quickly brushed it off my shoulder.

"I shouldn't care about what people think!" I stood up straight.

In my peripheral, I could see Vanilla's head raise up from her slumber. I guess I woke her up.

"Sorry, Vanilla! You could go back to sleep." I looked ay her and pet her head but she just stood up on the spot.

"Not going back to sleep?" I asked.

She just barked and started wagging her tail.

"Alright." I chuckled.

Took the TV remote to turn off the TV and I stood up.

"You know what, Vanilla?" I looked down at her while she jumped off the couch.

I crouched down to her while she looked at me, tongue out.

"I think I know what I really feel about him." I smiled at her while she barked, running around me as I stood up.

"I really do love Connor!" I shouted and it echoed throughout the house.
