{Betty's POV}

"This is going to be fun" I stated as I look Penny up and down. Her chuckle fills my ears as I slowly make my way towards her.

"Look at you, trying to be all strong" she says before spitting out some blood. Her arms are tied to the chair, restricting her from moving all that much. Without a word, I slam my fist into her temple, another cut dripping with her blood.

   "Where's Jellybean?" I asked.

"What makes you think I'm going to just up and tell you, princess?"

"Well, if you don't, I'm honestly not sure how much longer you'll have before Jughead and FP kill you" that statement caused her to laugh, almost uncontrollably.

"You think, either of them have the balls to kill anyone!?" She said through laughter. "They couldn't kill a fly sweetheart!"

"Okay, if not them. Me" I shrugged. "You see, I'm very big on family. Whether that be by blood or not. And when someone does something to hurt my family, I get angry" I explained. As she watched me, the evil smile on her face reappeared.

"How's your mom doing, Betty?" She asked. I stopped in my tracks. "How does she feel about you being apart of such a horrendous gang?"

"How do you even know my mother?" I asked, slightly dumbfounded by the random question. I haven't seen, no barely thought about that woman since she kicked me out of the house that was for so many years mine.

"Hunny, I know more about you than you'd think!" She laughed, once again spitting out some blood. "Elizabeth Cooper, the girl next door. Straight As in school, never did any wrong. Loved her daddy. And then he died, leaving her all alone with her cars. Mama Alice left you, Sister Polly left you. You were all alone."

The blood in my body was boiling, I shouldn't be surprised that she knows so much about me. Of course she has people to figure that stuff out. But why?

"You know nothing about me." I stated, the heat rising in my body.

"I know everything about you, after all, I am your auntie" she smiled. Those words made me freeze. Aunt? That's impossible! "Did your mommy ever tell you her maiden name, before she married precious Hal?"

"Stop."

"Alice Peabody, sister of Penny Peabody" she smiled. My mind was racing, every question you could think repeating in my mind. My heart was racing and my rage growing stronger. All I wanted to do was hit her. So I did. Throwing punch after punch, i felt nothing. No physical pain as I slammed my fist into every part of her I could. After a while, blood would bounce off of her on to me. I still have the brass knuckles on, causing more damage.

"Where is Jellybean!?" I yelled, finally stopping the torture. She was barely awake, still alive but, fainting quickly. "Penny, the fact that you are still so upset about what FP did shows how weak you really are" I started. Her eyes were falling me as I paced. "Poor little girl gets her heart broken, most people would at least be able to act like an actual adult after grieving. But not you. You're still just a little girl trapped, wanting petty revenge for something that happened over twenty years ago. How sad" I said, I quickly made it behind her so she couldn't see me. "You may think you know me, you don't. I'm not the same little girl as I used to be" I stated. Without a second thought, I opened the knife Jughead had given me, it's sharp blade causing Penny to squirm. As I placed the blade against her neck, her breathing got heavier. "Where's Jellybean?"

"You wouldn't hurt me, you couldn't hurt anyone" she stated, not even sure herself. I pushed harder, causing blood to start dripping from her neck.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that, Penny" I stated, sliding the blade less than a centimeter. "Where is she?" I asked once more. She stayed quiet, though I could almost hear her heartbeat.

"What are you gonna do? Kill me?" She spat. My answer was sliding the knife just a little more. "Okay! Okay!" She screamed. "I left her at the abandoned drive in" she said, sounding as though she was crying. As I came back into her sight, she was. "All I wanted was for him to feel the pain I did...." she nearly whispered.

"It's been over twenty years, Penny. It's time to let it go" I stated before turning on my heels and heading towards the stairs. As I walked I caught a glimpse of myself in a dirty mirror. I had blood splatter on my face and my clothes. My blonde hair was slightly ratty, but my eyes were the same. The same icy blue as they always have been.

As I made my way up the stairs and opened the door, everyone's eyes were automatically on me. Jughead stood in the front, his eyebrows furrowed as his eyes met mine. He, along with everyone else, looked me up and down as I walked to him.

"Betty....." he whispered, placing his hands on my arms. As he looked at me, all I could see was worry. Worry for me in his eyes.

"She's at the abandoned drive in, Jug" I said, a small smile appearing on his face. As he turned to FP, he smiled before grabbing Sweetpea and Toni and running off to get his daughter.

"Are you okay??? Is she...." he trailed off.

"I'm okay, Jughead" I smiled, cupping his cheeks. "Penny on the other hand, she's hurt but she is alive" I chuckled. He smiled slightly before placing his lips on mine. The kids was so tender and sweet, so caring and loving.

"I'm so glad you're okay, Juliet" he whispered into my neck as he pulled me into a tight hug. As he held me and I held him, I felt so much love. But also so much confusion.

I, Betty Cooper, just nearly beat a woman to death. The woman who claims she's my aunt. Me, the girl next door. While I'm confused as ever, I feel no regret. All I feel is proud. Proud of myself and of Jughead and the others. This is my family, and I would die for them, but I'd also kill for them.
