LOKI ODINSON • Wrong brother {2}

You snatched your hand away from Loki's, getting up from your spot on the bed. "He was just leaving." You smiled causally, ignoring the scared look on his face. Thor looked worried, but he nodded nonetheless. Loki got up, leaving the room in a rush. You stood up, walking over to the closet.

You disregarded the concerned look Thor had while you grabbed some clothes. "Y/N." Thor said, causing you to turn around with a tshirt in your hand, "what was that about. You looked sad." He continued, walking closer towards you. You shook your head, assuring him that it was nothing. "It didn't look like nothing. Y/N. I'm your fiancé. You can tell me anything."

You sighed audibly, sitting back down on the bed. You didn't want to tell him... but you had to. You had already said too much to Loki, and you barely even spoke. You knew that he (Loki) wouldn't mention what he had found out at all, but the thought would definitely always linger in the back of your mind.

"Loki," You whispered, playing with the hem of the shirt you still had in your hand, "I love Loki." There was a deafening silence in the room, along with a sense of tension. You looked up to your fiancé after a few seconds, only to see he wasn't even in the room.

You heard a strangled noise come from another room, along with a loud,
"LOKI!!" You shot up from your seat on the bed, wrapping your dressing gown around you before running out of the room.

Down the end of the hall, Thor held Loki by the shirt, lifting him up in the air. "What did you do to her?" He hissed, "do you think this is funny... messing with my fiancé? I love her with all my heart, and you betray me making her think she loves you? Disgraceful." Thor muttered the last bit, dropping Loki to the floor. Loki slumped into a ball, not daring to reply to his older brother. You watched as this scene unfolded, tears welling in your eyes. What had you done.

"Thor." You said, walking towards the both of them. Loki sent you a small smile before attempting to get up and walk away. He stumbled and hobbled, causing a suppressed laugh to come out of your lips. Your lip quivered when you looked back to Thor, the sudden realisation hitting you. "Loki didn't do anything to me. I was telling the truth." You sighed, bracing yourself for some sort of emotional explosion.

Instead, Thor said 4 heartbreaking words, a tear falling from his face. "Give me the ring."
