"You kissed him?" Shuri yelled from one of the workbenches in the lab. "Like KISSED him. Lips onto li-"
You chuckled, walking towards her. "Yes." She let out a suppressed and short squeak, jumping up and down a few times. You rolled your eyes, standing before the workbench that separated the two of you. You tried to hide the big smile that was in your face, but it was impossible. You kissed the man of your dreams, and it was great.

You didn't even realise what you were doing until you had pressed your lips against his. He was just as shocked as you were at first. But he eventually kissed back, leaning his forehead onto yours afterwards. You stayed like that for a while, trying to find the words to say. He spoke first.
"Now. What was that for?" He chuckled, slowly pulling away. He had a small smile playing on his lips; a definite blush on his cheeks. You shook your head, looking away briefly.
"I don't know." You looked back to him whilst smiling, "just being you, I guess."
He ran a hand over his head, licking his lips.
"Well I. I better go." He nodded, abruptly getting up. "Thanks for that. That. That kiss."
You watched him as he left, "you're welcome!"

You were brought out of your thoughts by the lab doors opening. Your back was to the door, but you knew who it was regardless. The smile on Shuri's face said it all. It was T'Challa.
Here came the teasing. The teasing that would continue for years.
