A/N: Merry Christmas!!!! I'm so sorry for not updating for so long, but here you go! I hope you have the merriest and loveliest of all Christmases and that you'll have a wonderful time. <3
Ramin:
Ramin was playing softly on his guitar when Sierra walked in through the door. She was smiling, a faint little smile, and plumped down right beside Ramin on the little sofa in his dressing room.
- Hey; Ramin said as he continued to play a song.
There was something in Sierra's face today that Ramin couldn't place. It was not sadness nor stress, if Ramin had to guess he thought that he knew those faces. Since they had been friends for so long they had gone through a lot of things together. Most of the times Sierra's face was like an opened book to him, he just needed one look to tell the emotion she had. Today, well, she did not look sad or something but still, should he ask if she was okay or was it too much? He did not want her to feel like he was clingy, no Ramin stop it, better be caring.
- Sie, is everything alright?
- Yes of course, it just that I... I'm on my... period, I have some small uh, cramps, but that's alright.
She looked a little uneasy and turned in her seat. Ramin felt his confidence drop, Mandy had never had that much pain, basically nothing at all, which made Ramin recall all the jokes about that back in London, which had been funny at the time. But unfortunately, that would not help Ramin in the progress of knowing how to act around Sierra now.
- I just want to sit here for a while; Sierra continued making herself comfortable in the sofa and closed her eyes.
Ramin said a quiet yes and kept on playing on his guitar, just picking some simple chords and not anything else. Playing softly was one way of letting go of all stress, letting all his problems disappear with the tunes and melodies, but today was different. It just would not work as it used to. He could not concentrate on his playing and looked down at Sierra all the time. I was so hard knowing that he couldn't do anything to make things better, she just needed to wait it out. But Ramin wanted to help, to do something, it was way too hard to just look and not being able to do one single thing, not anything.
During this half of an hour sitting here alone Sierra had stirred a little, turned on her place and each time Ramin had stopped playing and had reached out a hand to stroke her hair. The gesture hadn't made Sierra react one single time, it was mostly for himself. Hoping that she would find some comfort in that. Just now Sierra made a turn in her seat, scrunching her eyebrows together. Ramin felt his stomach drop, it was not fair that women needed to experience this pain one freaking week each month and for the hundredth time this day wished he could take the pain instead of her. When Ramin stroked Sierra's hair this time she let out a little sigh, pressed her eyebrows together once more and curled into a little ball. Ramin knew that this was normal, but it still hurt to see her like this, so he placed down his guitar beside him and moved a little closer to her. Sierra immediately jumped as much as she was able to his lap and Ramin placed his arms around her. Even in this pressed situation Ramin felt the butterflies in his stomach, flying excited around in circles. He moved his hand up and down her back, hoping it would give her at least some comfort. Sierra let out a little unhappy noise and Ramin stroke some hair away from her ear and whispered into it;
- Do you want me to bring you anything?
Surly she had some idea what to do when this happened, and as he guessed she opened her eyes slowly and looked up at him;
- You could bring... um, maybe a heating pad. I have mine right above the locker... you can find it right? Sierra almost whispered to him.
