The Funeral

Hi, George Garcia again. I just want to say couple of things.

Fuska's death was truly a tragedy, not just the way she died, but she was just so perfect. You know everyone has a favorite superhero, Fuska was our favorite hero. Everybody liked her, she was the most relatable one, in the 3 survivors. I know that is not saying much considering Gleb and Saey but still..

Saey is an extreme radicalist with a huge ego and Gleb is just, let's just say he has no personality. He becomes whoever he needs to become, he is a follower.

But Fuska, she has morals, beliefs, there are things she wouldn't compromise, ever. Maybe that's what her got killed, I don't know.

And she also represented the kindness of GSF. I think they each have a purpose, actually this is my theory but I guess Saey represents Power, Gleb represents intelligence and Fuska represents their human side, kindness.

(Gleb's intelligent superpower can make you a little surprised, but most of the technological develepments they created over the years, are Gleb's work actually.)

Fuska was mostly known with her work with African children. She was great with children.

From all around the world, she definitely earned her nickname. She was truly our "Queen".

So her death made a lot of people very sad. Her funeral was the biggest funeral I ever saw. You can watch the video wherever you want, it is widely popular. But I just wanna share couple of speeches from that day.

Saey

"Fuska was ... She was the most valuable member of our group. I always respected her. She was in love with what she did. She always wanted do more, you know? Nothing was enough for her...one time... one day.. it was one of those days we worked 16 hours a day, we went from meeting to meeting, conference to conference, we were exhausted.. She... We were on the street and waiting for our car. A woman came near her. She had a problem. I don't know what it was but she told her.. and Fuska turned around, she said to us "you go, I'll catch you up later.". She didn't say I'll deal with this later. She didn't say I am tired right now. She instinctly wanted to help her. She went with her, and I am sorry I don't know what she did for her but she came to headquarters 4 hours later.

She dedicated her life for helping others, and she... She will always be our Queen."

Saey's speech was wonderful. His relationship with Fuska always baffled me. Gleb and Fuska obviously had a romantic relationship but Saey and Fuska was quite complicated. It was more like a father/daughter kinda relationship.

And if you are ready, lets move on to Gleb's speech.

Gleb

"......"

He paused for a long time. He was crying. He couldn't talk, then he took a deep breath and he started talking

"She was always motivated.. to do more. Saey and I... we always said to her... you need to take care of yourself too. You are gonna hurt yourself. But she always gave us the same answer. 'me or 7 billion people'. There are quite a few times she woke us up in the middle of the night and she has got this great idea, and she wants do discuss it. "

He chuckled.

"and there were a few times we were pretty angry."

He paused again.

"I wanna share something she told me.. I was really upset one day. It was really hard for us in the beginning. She was an expert in these situations. Do you know what she told me?

She said "This is gonna be a hard journey, They are not gonna believe us, Sometimes You'll say I wish I was dead with the rest of the world, you are gonna say I wish I hadn't come. In those times just remember, we have a great chance to actually change the world. We can do something good so we are not gonna have a good life who cares? A lot of people is gonna have beautiful lives because of us. Isn't that enough?"

That was her point of view. She always though about others before herself.

I don't .. I can't find anything to say, I just don't understand why would anyone... why would you wanna hurt... I am sorry."

He stopped talking with tears and went backstage.

I know you expected more from Gleb, but this is a really emotional time. I guess he accepted to give a speech because he kinda has to.

Anyway as I mentioned before, the funeral was huge and it lasted like 4 hours. A lot of important people talked but nothing important for the story. So I'll just go to next part.
