A Drapple Short

~Tessa's POV~

I walked through the lawns of the school, headed toward the black lake. In front of the black lake were two trees next to each other.

This was my favorite place to meet Draco.

As I approached, I saw that Draco was there, holding a green apple. I assumed he'd been waiting for me.

I sat across from him, against the other tree.

"Hey Draco" I said softly, looking at him. He was looking at his apple contently

"You're so beautiful.." Draco said suddenly

I felt my cheeks burn "Oh.. Draco that's very sweet" I said shyly

"You're very sweet... Sweeter than candy... In fact you're nature's candy" he said, his smile growing

"That's a very strange thing to say.." I said softly, looking at him confusion.

"I have to say something.. I know we've only been together a short time... But I love you." He said.

"D-Draco.." I said with wide eyes.

Then I saw his eyes flick up to meet mine.

"Oh- T-Tessa! H-How long have you been sitting there..?" He asked me

"Wha- You didn't... Wait who were you talking to??" I asked him in confusion

"Um... N-No-No one heh" he said, setting the apple down in his lap quickly but carefully

That's when I realized. I struggled to keep from giggling "Wait... Were... Were you talking to your apple?" I said, stifling my giggles.

"Wh- No! O-Of course not! Why would I- tsk.. Tessa that's... You're ridiculous!" He stammered, dropping the apple on the ground as if he didn't care for it.

I burst into laughter

"Stop laughing!" He pouted

"Oh I'm sorry Draco.." I said softly

He picked up the apple "it's okay... I'd never hurt you.." he cooed to it.

"Wow... Hope I'm not being replaced by an apple" I said

He looked up at me then at the apple in his hands then back at me. He then looked at the apple once more, as if considering it.

"Draco! Oh my God!" I said

"Wh- I'd never replace you!" He said, glancing at the apple

"Me or the apple?" I asked, smirking slightly

"Y-You of course!" He stammered

"Uh-huh" I said

He set the apple down on his books and moved to me and wrapped his arms around my waist

"I wouldn't replace you.." he said, looking at me with puppy dog eyes.

I patted his head "I know."

"I just love my apple" he added

I giggled "I know"

"Don't judge me..."

"I won't" I said, kissing his forehead

"I love you.." he said softly

I smiled "I love you too" I said before noticing that once again he was looking at the apple.

I laughed "Accio apple" I said and the apple moved to me. I handed it to him

He grinned like a child given a toy and hugged me tighter

I laughed

I couldn't help but love this goofball
