Short filler chapter

~Tessa's POV~

Dumbledore had a grand funeral.

So many witches and wizards came.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, and I did not.

It would've been too much for me to take.

It would've been the third funeral I've been to since I found out about my wizarding heritage.

And really I hated it.

But there was one funeral I was looking forward to.

Voldemort's.

He'd taken my parents, a close friend, my God father, my favorite Professor. He'd been manipulating Draco to do his dirty work.

He was going to pay. I would make sure of that.

Once he was gone, the wizarding world would be wonderful again.

Harry and I sat with Ron and Hermione in the Astronomy Tower, looking over the grounds.

"You think he would've done it? Draco?" Hermione asked

"No..." I said softly, "he was lowering his wand in the end.."

"It was Snape... It was always Snape" Harry said angrily. He handed the locket to Hermione "Look"

She opened it and took the slip of paper out of it

She read it aloud.

"To the Dark Lord, I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in hope that when you meet your match you will be mortal once more. R.A.B." she looked at Harry "R.A.B.?"

"Don't know... But whoever they are, they have the real horcrux. It means it was all a waste. All of it." Harry glared at the ground below us.

"We're not coming back Hermione." I said, "we have to finish whatever Dumbledore started. And I don't know where that'll leave us... but we'll let you know where we can are when we can"

"I've always admired your courage. Both of you but sometimes you can be really thick" Hermione said, "you don't really think you're going to be able to find all these horcruxes on your own, do you? You need us"

I smiled and nodded. I was happy she was coming. Her and Ron.

"I never realized how beautiful this place was.." she said softly as we looked at the grounds
