Let's just pretend that that image up there is a conversation between Tessa and Draco

~Tessa's POV~

I yawned as I walked through the King's Cross station.

I felt a small hand squeeze mine.

I looked down at the blond head beside me.

"Nervous buddy?" I asked

"A little.." Scorpius said

"Don't be" Draco said, I looked up at him, "they're all going to love you"

"Are you sure dad?" Scorpius asked

Draco nodded

I watched as he knelt down beside our son.

"You are a smart and kind kid. You have your mother's mind" Draco said

"And your father's heart" I added

"Please. You have your mother's heart more than mine" Draco said with a small chuckle, "And you will be exceptional in that school"

"What if I'm not in Slytherin like you dad?" Scorpius asked

"Then... That's alright. Your mother was a Gryffindor" Draco said

"And one the bravest students I knew was a Hufflepuff." I added, "and Ravenclaw is just as exceptional"

"No matter what house you're in remember this, we'll be proud of you no matter what" Draco said.

I knelt beside them and Scorpius looked at me.

I smiled as I pushed back his hair and planted a small kiss on his forehead

"Mum.." Scorpius said, gently pushing me away.

I laughed "I love you so much Scorpius." I said, "have fun at Hogwarts okay?"

"I will" Scorpius replied

"Look there's Uncle Harry with Albus and James" I said, pointing across the way.

Scorpius looked over at his two cousins and nodded

"I gotta go" he said, "Love you Mum, Love you Dad"

Scorpius quickly kissed my cheek, hugged Draco, then ran off toward the train.

I stood slowly as I watched his blond head disappear in the crowd.

We'd been waiting for this day for such a long time. For Scorpius to go to our school, see where his parents grew up. Where they fell in love.

I placed a hand on my heart. He was growing up so fast. I hoped he'd be okay.

I felt a hand take mine and I looked up at Draco in surprise.

"He'll be fine. He's a Malfoy" Draco said, "And he's a Potter. Nothing's going to stand in his way"

Draco leaned over and pressed his lips against my temple

"And we can only hope he meets a girl as wonderful as his mother" he added

"Or as stubborn and headstrong as his father" I teased

He chuckled and hugged me from behind.

I watched as Harry's children climbed into the Hogwarts Express as well.

I waved at my brother and he smiled at me.

I sighed contently as we watched the Hogwarts Express take off from the station.

I reached up and subconsciously rubbed the faded lightning scar on my forehead.

It hadn't hurt in years.

Not since that fateful day at Hogwarts.

Voldemort and the Death Eaters were gone.

Hogwarts was once again the safest place and I was beyond happy.

All was well.
