~Tessa's POV~

The next morning, I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I yawned and sat up a little.

That had been the best night sleep I'd gotten since Cedric died...

I looked at the sleeping boy whose lap I still sat upon and smiled.

He had a small smile on his face. His shirt lay forgotten a little ways away from us. His arms held my waist loosely.

I smiled as I looked at him and thought for a moment

I kissed his lips then his cheek. His cheek twitched a little and I giggled.

I pursed my lips a moment then kissed him firmly on the lips. It took a moment but his grip on me tightened and I felt him kiss back.

"What a way to wake up.." he said as we pulled away from each other.

"Yes well... Figured we should get up soon" I said with a smirk.

"Yes I definitely want to get up, leave my love's side, and go sit in a class taught by a toad woman" he said sarcastically, referring to Professor Umbridge, who worked for the ministry and was now teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts.

I sighed "I don't want to go either... But if we're late then we'll get in trouble. And we'll get caught"

He sighed and pecked my lips again. He put one arm under my knees and the other on my back and stood up, holding me bridal style.

He set me down and hugged me tightly. I hugged back

"Man I'm gonna miss you" he said

"We go to the same school" I said with a smile

"A school where we're supposed to be enemies" he said, glaring at the ground

"I don't like it anymore than you do Dray but we have to hide it" I said, lifting his chin to face me.

He nodded and smiled a little. "Alright. Let's go" he said.

"How do we cover this up?" I asked

"You go down first. I'll wait ten minutes and follow" he said

"You sure you wanna get in trouble for being late like that?" I asked him

"I'm Draco Malfoy. My reputation proceeds me. I'll be fine" he said

I nodded "Alright then"

I kissed him one more time then headed down the stairs.

I walked through the corridors and to the Great Hall.

When I got there, I sat between Harry and George.

"Tessa! Where have you been?! Hermione said you never went to bed last night!" Harry said, worry in his eyes

"I went up to the Astronomy Tower last night, to look at the view... Guess I lost track of time and fell asleep" I said softly. Beside me, George coughed.

I shot him a glare and grabbed some food.

I ate quietly, thinking about last night. I smiled happily.

"You're practically glowing Tessa. Might wanna tone down on the happiness. Someone is going to find out about your shagging partner" George mumbled

I choked on my bacon. I coughed for a moment

"We haven't-" I started defensively but was interrupted

"You okay Tessa?" Harry asked

I nodded a little

I glared at George who shrugged slightly.

I rolled my eyes and set my fork down.

I met Draco's eyes from across The Hall and he flashed me a award winning smile.

I smiled back happily.

When happened last night was ours and ours alone.

I smiled to myself more as I thought about that. I don't think anything could've changed my love for Draco Malfoy in that moment.

"Hey Tess? What's that red mark on your neck?" Ginny asked

I gasped and clapped a hand on my neck quickly. I'm gonna kill him
