~Tessa's POV~

Later we all sat in The Great Hall. Dumbledore stared at us. He sighed softly and stood up

"Today we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was as you all know, exceptionally hard working, intricately fair minded. And most importantly a fierce fierce friend. I think therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died." Dumbledore said, I sobbed quietly into Draco's shoulder, "You see, Cedric Diggory was murdered by Lord Voldemort. The ministry of magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so I think would be an insult to his memory."

The Hall was dead quiet except for crying.

"Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me, reminds us that while we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one. In light of recent events the bonds of friendship we made this year will be more important than ever." Dumbledore continued, "Remember that and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain, you remember that. And we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true right to the very end."

Draco kissed my head multiple times as I clung to him.

Later on, Harry and I were in his dorm as he continued to pack up the rest of his things.

I sat quietly on his Four Poster bed, hugging my knees. We were both silent when the door creaked open

We both looked up to meet the eyes of Albus Dumbledore.

"Always hated these curtains." Dumbledore said casually, looking at the bed curtains, "set them on fire in my fourth year. By accident of course.." he smiled slightly then turned to us

"I put you in great danger this year and I'm sorry" he said.

"Professor.." Harry said, "when we wear in the graveyard, there was this moment.. um... When Voldemort's want and ours sort of... Connected"

"Priori Incantatem" Dumbledore said, "You saw your parents that night didn't you?"

"Yes sir" we said together.

"No spell can raise the dead, I trust you know that. Dark and difficult times like ahead. Soon we all must face the choice between what is right and what is easy. But remember this. You have your friends. And you have each other. You are not alone" Dumbledore said. Harry and I glanced at each other.

"Come. Our guests are leaving soon and we should say good bye" Dumbledore said. We nodded and Harry left the room before me and Dumbledore.

I got up slowly. Dumbledore's eyes watched me.

"You were close with him. Weren't you?" He asked.

"We had a few moments... Yeah.." I said softly, not looking at Dumbledore.

"It does not due to dwell on the past and forget to live" Dumbledore said, "I told you that in your first year. Remember that"

I nodded slightly, giving him a small smile.

"Come then" he said, leading me out of the room.

The courtyard outside was filled with Hogwarts students saying good bye to the students of Drumstrang and Beauxbatons.

I watched as Hermione said good bye to Krum, who kissed her cheek and handed her a piece of paper.

I smiled, watching them.

She came over to us.

"Man. Can we ever have a quiet year at Hogwarts?" Ron joked

"No" Harry said at the exact moment I said "Never"

Hermione sighed "Everything is going to change now isn't it"

"Yes" Harry said. I nodded.

We walked to the balcony over the cliff that the castle sat on.

"Promise you'll write this summer. All of you" she said

"I won't. You know I won't" Ron joked.

"Harry will won't you?" Hermione said

"Yeah. Every week" He said sarcastically. We laughed

"I'll write" I said

"Thank you Tessa!" She said happily. I laughed.

We watched as the Beauxbatons carriage flew into the distance and as the Drumstrang ship sank into the sea. I don't know how but... I knew better then to question magic.

"I'm going to go find Draco. I'll see you guys" I said before running off to go find my boyfriend.
