Chapter 49: The truth behind the words

            Brooklyn’s POV

             Recap: “She seems nice and all, but is she the girl?”

            I had locked myself in the guest room, which had basically turned into the girls’ room. I was sitting on the bed crying my eyes out, who else would Liam have been talking about? And who was the one talking to him? I might have made a huge mistake.

            “Babe, please open the door.” I heard Liam practically whisper to the door.

            “Fine.” I replied, wiping my remaining tears and unlocking the door.

            “That wasn’t what you thought it was.” He whispered to me, sitting down next to me on the bed.

            “Then what was it?”

            “I had just broken up with Dani when I met you, she was cheating on me with some guy she met at a club. Management had found out and they didn’t want it to look like you were my rebound.”

            “Was I?”

            “No! Brook you know that better than anybody! I loved you at first sight, I didn’t just want to get over Danielle.”

            “Y-you love me?”

            “With all of my heart.”

            “I love you too, LiLi.”
