Cavalry Battle and Lunch

Y/N POV

"Do you want to be the one on top?" Itsuka asks.

"I'm not sure...there are pros and cons for any of us being on top..." I say, thinking.

"I think Y/N should be on top!" Pony exclaims.

They all agree.

"Okay! I can use ink to grab the head bands!" I say.

"Yeah!" They All exclaim and we get into formation.

I'm on the top. Itsuka is to my left. Pony is to my right. Then, Tetsutetsu is in front. I take off my gym uniform jacket and tie it around my waist. We are all ready to go.

The plan is to grab as many headbands as possible, not going for Midoriya. We will also be sure to grab the headbands of those distracted. Tetsutetsu will block attacks from the front. Itsuka will block attacks from the left. Pony will grab the headbands my ink friends bring and hand them to me. All in all, it's not a bad plan.

First, I create two ink searchers. They look like blobs of ink with arms and a head. They can turn into puddles of ink, or look like a person made of ink from the waist up. I send them out to be sneaky and get headbands.

Second, We spot Todoroki and his huge ice attack. We swiftly avoid it by my forming ink wings and flying up, while Pony, Tetsutetsu, and Itsuka hold on for dear life. We land safely.

We spot Monoma easily taking people's headbands. I spot him steal Bakugo's headbands.

Oh no...

Bakugo let's out a loud string of swear words. I look away when Pony taps on my shoulder and hands me four headbands from the searchers. I smile and tie them around my neck. I glance back in Monoma's direction and see Bakugo heading towards him. Before I can debate much...

"Monoma, watch out!" I shout a warning.

He turns around, just in time, to stop Bakugo with an explosion.

Right... I almost forgot his quirk was copy... he can copy other people's quirk by touching them...

I then spot Bakugo's team race towards me.

"WHY YOU LITTLE!!!! YOU ALMOST COST ME MY POINTS!!!" Bakugo then jumps towards me.

Itsuka quickly bocks him and we escape. Pony taps my leg again. I look down and see her holding six headbands.

"I saw a team that was lead by a guy with purple hair, he appeared to had brainwashed his team. He hand no defense, so I grabbed their headbands," Pony explains, a bright smile on her face.

"Pony, you're an angel!" I exclaim and give her a hug best I can.

We continue to search for headbands and then time is up. We all sigh in relief when we get third place. I absorb the ink searchers. I hop down and congratulate my teammates. I then go over to see how Team Midoriya did.

I spot Uraraka petting Dark Shadow and Midoriya in a hole crying his eyes out. I walk over to Tokoyami and hug him.
"Good job!" I quietly cheer.

Tokoyami hugs me back and replies with a thank you. He also compliments me on getting my team third place.

"I couldn't have done it without my awesome teammates," I state.

Midnight announces that there will be a lunch break before the sports festival continues. Tetsutetsu, Pony, and Itsuka walk over to Tokoyami and me.

"Hey, Y/N are you and your boyfriend gonna join us for lunch?" Itsuka asks.

"Boyfriend?" I question raising an eyebrow.

"Him," Itsuka says, motioning to Tokoyami.

"Oh...Would you like to join us for lunch, Tokoyami?" I ask, turning towards him.

"Umm...sure..." Tokoyami replies, he appears to be flustered.

We start walking to the cafeteria, when I get the feeling I need to go somewhere. I say I'll meet up with them in a moment and start walking.

Why am I going this way?

There's something you need to hear.

"Woah...voice...what do I need to hear?" I mumble.

You'll see...

"Okay...can I have control over my body again when we get there?" I mumble.

Yes, you'll soon be there...

"You're rather calm..." I mumble.

I stop and lean against a wall. I peak behind the corner and see Todoroki and Midoriya.

Midoriya suddenly says, "We should get lunch before they run out of time..."

Todoroki ignores him. When Todoroki finally speaks, he says, "The power that came from you during the Cavalry Battle was the same as All Might's. Are you All Might's secret love child or something?"

I, luckily, succeeded in holding back a laugh.

All Might's secret love child!?!?! I'm pretty sure Midoriya is just a holder of One for All... I can't believe I almost forgot All for One's brother was the first holder and then multiple other people got passed down the quirk... Wait...wasn't Tomura related to a holder...the one before All Might... isn't that the reason All for One took in Tomura...to piss off All Might...

Midoriya tries to explain that isn't the case, but it's obvious that there is a secret connection between the two. Todoroki states that he is the son of the Number 2 Hero: Endeavor, giving him more reason to defeat Midoriya.

Todoroki explains to Izuku that Endeavor is obsessed with defeating All Might, and although he was never able to do it, he is still trying to. Endeavor used his money to buy out Rei Todoroki family to implement a Quirk marriage with the intent of creating a powerful child. That child, Todoroki reveals, that Endeavor only created him to annex All Might as the number one hero, and that all the memories of his mother are of her crying. He also says that his mother called his left side unbearable before pouring boiling water on his face. The reason Todoroki had picked a fight with Midoriya is because he wishes to show his father that he can win the festival without using his fire power.

Todoroki leaves the area but Midoriya stops him for a moment to declare that despite his inferior motivations, he will still do his best to defeat Todoroki. I quickly "melt" into an ink puddle so I'm not spotted.

I turn back into my normal form and start my walk to the cafeteria.

Woah...Todoroki's past is exactly how I remember... I wonder how Rei's doing... It's been a while since I've seen her... I hope she hasn't attempted to jump off of the building again... that was not a fun experience...

I join Tokoyami, Tetsutetsu, Pony, and Itsuka. I sit next to Tokoyami and we all talk, except Tokoyami. I know he's not a big talker, but I don't really want him to feel left out... I grab Tokoyami's hand and lace our fingers together. In response, Tokoyami squeezes my hand and smiles at me. I smile back and rest my head on Tokoyami's shoulder.
