{Chapter Thirty-Seven}

{Naruko's}

Breathing in the smell of the meadow around me was very relaxing after having a small battle with Neji who was passed out right next to me, he lasted a lot longer than Kiba did but that was because he got distracted by Hinata. 'They would make a great couple.', smiling I agreed with Kurama as I kept meditating in the welcomed silence. *Crunch* I didn't have to open my eyes to see Sasuke walking up to me and sitting down thinking he was being discreet with his silent movement but what I never told them was the fact that I was merged with Kurama's yoki giving me the fox senses. I could hear Shino praising a bug using with his chakra about a mile away from where I sat, and that's only without furthering my senses with great concentration but using my chakra now that's another thing.

I didn't give any indication of knowing he was in front of me and just simply ignored him instead focusing on my calm breathing and the smell of the flowers within the meadow. *grunt noise* "Yes Sasuke.", I sighed not helping but feeling like crap since I couldn't finish meditating. Looking at Sasuke he seemed to be glaring at me before grunting again and continued glaring at me. Raising an eyebrow I shrugged and closed my eyes going to back to my meditation but putting my arms out in a shield that could be mistaken as a relaxing pose. 'I don't think I like what he is up to with him being this close to me. Kakashi...'

{Kakashi's}

'Kakashi..', I ditched my spar with Guy after hearing the slight warning tone in my mates voice. I knew she was in a situation she didn't want to fight knowing something bad would happen I made my way to her ignoring Guy's shouting. 'I'm coming love.'

{Sasuke's}

Grunting at her I continue studying her face watching as she went back to meditating. It was so easy to sneak up on her she didn't hear me coming. Even after all these years she is still a dobe. Cocking my head I smirked as I moved closer going in for the kill until I sensed Kakashi coming my way, 'Fucking hell! I will get you don't worry about that Naruko.', quickly moving I left the meadow just as Kakashi entered it going straight for Naruko who was watching me leave. Grunting once more I left completely making my way back to the others as if nothing had happened.

{Naruko's}

I watched as he left just as my mate entered the meadow looking pissed and ready to kill as he to turned to look at what I was looking at but didn't turn in time as Sasuke fully left my vision. "Love are you-" "Sasuke is up to something and I don't like it when it involves me.", I cut him off as I gave him a look that instantly put him on alert. He nodded before sitting down behind me grabbing a hold of my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder allowing me to go back to my meditation. "I love you~", smiling with a slight chuckle, a breathless kiss was placed on my exposed neck.
