M(Millie)- WE ARE COMING IN 4 WEEKS! I'm so excited! Y(you)- yeah me too. M- look. I know what you said, about talking to Finn- Y- oh my god millie did you talk to him? M- okay we were FaceTiming and you were brought up. He has an explanation I guess. Y- I believe in second chances, but I already gave that second chance to him. He lost it. Not my problem. M- I know but what about third chances?
A car honks outside.
Y- sorry millie I got to go to school. Matthew is picking me up. M- please think about it? Y- fine. Bye mills M- bye
Call ended
I ran downstairs and said goodbye to my family.
"Oh sweetie we are having dinner tonight, you can bring a friend." Said my mom happily
"OH MY GOD SISSY BRING FINN!"
Shit. They don't know what happened. They didn't know I even dated him. I've realized I've been distant from my family.
"Finn went back home. He doesn't live here abi." I said "but I'll bring Matthew."
"Matthew Anderson?" Asked my mom
"Yeah we reconnected" I said
"Gotta love that boy. He's also a keeper" my mom winked at me.
"Mooom"
I've missed talking to my family, so I ran up to my mom and hugged her tight, "Sorry I've been distant." My mom was probably surprised and hugged me back "we know you've been going through things so we backed off for you to cool down. Glad that everything is alright"
But everything is not alright.
The car honks again. I ran out of the door before they could say anything.
I ran into Matthews car, "my family is having dinner, wanna join?" I asked Matthew
"HECK YEAH!" Yelled Matthew "your mom is the best cook! And your sister! AHHHH IM EXCITED."
I laughed and we drive off to school.
Me and Matthew arrived at school and I realized I don't see Cassie.
"Where's Cassie?" I asked Matthew
"Probably sick. Who knows" replied Matthew
We went to our lockers (we have locker next to each other) and grabbed our stuff.
-after school-
I went home and got dressed into something comfortable. Matthew said he will be here for dinner in an hour.
I ran downstairs and started helping my mom cook dinner.
"So Finn doesn't live here?" My mom asked
"Well yeah. Also we kinda are not friends anymore." I replied.
"What happened? Is that why you were distant?"
"Yeah," I replied "it's kinda complicated but I'm better. I have Cassie and Matthew now!"
The doorbell rang and I opened the door
"MATT!" I yelled happily!
"OH MY GOSH Y/N!" Yelled Matthew "we are wearing the same thing!"
We laughed and I brought him inside.
