You were laying in your bed when your boyfriend Newt started to shake and was saying things like "stop" or "please no"

You shook him awake and his brown eyes looked into yours. "You okay?" You asked him brushing his sweaty hair off his face.

"Just a nightmare love" He told you trying to steady his breathing.

"Okay well try to go back to sleep I'll be right here" you told him as he laid his head on your stomach.

"Y/n can you umm er never mind" he shook his head and closed his eyes.

"Want me to sing to you?" You whispered still combing his hair.

"Please" he whimpered.

"I see your monsters, I see your pain. Tell me your problems I'll chase them away. I'll be your light house, I'll make it okay. When I see your monsters I'll stand there so brave and chase them all away"
You looked down at him and see him peacefully sleeping on you.

You leaned down and kiss his head, "don't worry Newt I will always chase away your monsters" you whispered to him.

That was cute but short 🤷🏻‍♀️
